"S50202 was an excellent location being right on the seafront at St Leonards. The apartment was surprisingly large, very comfortable and very well equipped. Other reviewers have mentioned damp but it certainly wasn't an issue for us. On street car parking is free but it was difficult to find a space. However, this was not a problem as we just decided to walk everywhere or parked in the public car park nearby. Carol Anne was very welcoming and left us a pint of milk so that we could have a cuppa on arrival after a long journey. Carol Anne also put fresh flowers is the rooms. In the summer, and when the scaffolding comes down I'm sure the front courtyard will be a lovely place to sit. One of the main things for us was that it was dog friendly. Some nice restaurants within walking distance."

"Absolutely brilliant location, near the Beach and the Town. We took both of our Dogs who were well catered for by Carol-Ann (the Owner). She had left Dog Treats, Towels and Poo Bags available.The House was spotless and the Living Room has 2 massive sofas which are very comfortable. Wifi is readily available.The Bedroom is very spacious too and the Bed is very comfortable.The Kitchen and Bathroom are both well catered for too, with everything you could possibly need for a good holiday.S50202 is indeed a great base for any Holiday and Carol Ann is a lovely person who is really helpful.We would definately reccomend this place and will be going back again."

"We had a very peaceful and relaxed weekend at the cottage with our dog Frankie. The cottage is very pretty, and well supplied with home comforts. It is a good base to visit Rye, Winchelsea and Camber Sands. Rye was a suprising treasure and very dog friendly.The real down side was that I could not walk from the cottage with the dog, other than a small lane leading to three other properties. The B road next to the cottage was not safe to walk along, as there is no path and traffic is travelling at speed. This meant we had to take the car when ever we wanted to get out and explore the surrounding country side."

"Exactly what I needed after knee surgery at the McIndoe Centre. The cottage is really cosy and comfortable and really well equipped. Joan and Jim are lovely people - very welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated the gift of a bottle of fizz and cakes - so thoughtful. The cottage was the perfect place for me to recover from my knee replacement - lying on the comfy bed with the bedroom door open, listening to the birdsong, was just what the doctor ordered. Such a beautiful and peaceful place with gorgeous grounds - perfect for hobbling around on crutches."

"The views over the Rother Valley are beautiful and the oast is close to Rye and other places of interest as well as lovely countryside. It's a bit of a step to walk to the village pub. The oast itself has a very well-equipped kitchen, a big dining room and a comfortable lounge. We were 8 adults and had loads of space. The games room has bar billiards, table top football and a pool table. The garden is ok - nothing special - but there is a nice outside patio area with lovely views and a gas BBQ which looked practically new. We had a great time !"
