"Very comfortable for a family holiday. Lovely, remote and quiet location, super views; extremely peaceful. Generally well equipped with what's necessary, albeit functional rather than cosy. Perhaps an extra set of tableware wouldn't go amiss. Very spacious overall and generous rooms. Very light. Dont know if possible with the water supply but an upgrade to the shower pressure would be welcome.Super friendly and flexible caretaker.Instructions how to find (we arrived in the dark) weren't entirely useful to find the last turn. Just need to update on the site, as it's properly signposted once you get far enough."

"We had a lovely family weekend. The house is quirky, quaint and comfortable, with lots of places to explore. We had family meals every day and enjoyed the log fire and the piano. It was clean and warm and beds were comfortable. The garden was good for the dogs and sitting in the sun, we moved the bench to the grass. We had three cars and the garage door is waiting to be fixed but we managed to park two down the road, we didn't mind. The surrounding areas are stunning and we would love to go back in the summer one year."

"This is a lovely cottage in the heart of Aldeburgh. You will be right in the heart of the action during carnival week so expect some noise but you can't have the great location without the other. The stairs are steep so be aware of that if you have trouble with them or have small children. The cottage is kitted out very well, there is plenty of living space and equipment to make things easy and you might even cook if the restaurants and deli don't appeal!! Overall I thought this was a real find."

"Happy New year!By far the best weekend break had in a long time, beds super comfy, gorg views of the stud farm. Even a Christmas tree in the living room which was a lovely little touch. There was 3 couples that stayed for the new year eve break. Karen was a great host, really friendly and helpful also recommended us some great pubs in Orford a short 5 mins drive away. Will definitely be back!! Thank you for having us. Samantha."

"Aldeburgh is great and the cottage is just a few mins walk from the sea. Would recommend both! The only minor irritants were lack of clear instructions re recycling etc and the fact the garden is overlooked by art gallery next door (and people using steps the other side) which made the dash from the shower in the games room a bit challenging! PS. Can't park in front of cottage but okay on road behind cottages (via steps)."
