Aldeburgh is within walking distance and has a fabulous selection of shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, boutiques and galleries and its famous brightly coloured beach huts have to be checked out too. If you like your hikes and cycle rides then check out Aldeburgh Marshes and take a walk or cycle along the coast to Thorpeness. Snape Maltings is only a few miles away and is home to the renowned Aldeburgh Music Festival or jump in the car for some attractions further afield which include Helmingham Hall and Open Gardens, Adnams Brewery, Go Ape Thetford, Africa Alive Zoological Reserve and Framlingham Castle. Beaches worth visiting and packing a picnic for include Dunwich, Southwold, Great Yarmouth and Kessingland. Small but most definitely perfectly formed, Alinka offers the perfect holiday destination.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!

All the amenities you need and more. We had a fab time, and our dog Charlie also had the best time, entrance via a back gate makes it easy to clean off paws before entering the house. Would highly recommend. Note stairs are typical of older cottages so small and tight and steep, so take care going up and down.

Despite being small (as described), the cottage had everything we needed for a short stay, with high quality appliances and fittings. We loved being able to walk so quickly to the seafront.

The cottage is very quaint and cosy, with the beach a short walk from the doorstep, the town of Aldeburgh has a host of interesting shops and wonderful fish and chips to take away and eat by the sea shore. We loved everything about our short break and we would definately return in the future.
