What our customers say about their holidays

A beautiful property on the High Street.

Very well maintained and equipped, more than enough room and equipment for 8 people. Really comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Everywhere sparklingly clean. Nice and warm with the ability to control the heat yourself. Huge kitchen/diner, 2 separate lounges and 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms each with a bathroom. Lots of unrestricted parking at the back of the property (property can be accessed from front or back), no noise or smells from the restaurant below. Lots of cafes, bakeries and eateries within a few minutes walk. Would not hesitate to stay here again the pictures do not do it justice.

We are four couples , who spend a week together every year in a different area of Britain, for a mostly walking holiday.

This year was outstanding. Regatta exceeded all expectations - a huge flat, with wonderful facilities - we wanted for nothing. We loved the outside seating too, even at the end of September- a beautiful space. The ease of parking in the road behind, with direct access. We had wondered, but not once did we hear the restaurant below- and we loved eating there. Staying so centrally in beautiful Aldeburgh was a joy and we even walked to swim first thing some mornings in the sea. It was a thoroughly wonderful flat and we would recommend unstintingly.

The apartment itself is very well appointed with a good range of equipment and well positioned in the town, you cannot fault that at all. My caveat would be the small size of the kitchen area and to a lesser extent the bathroom, all the necessary kit was there in the kitchen but only one person could be in the space at any time, with two of you in there you are trpping over each other. I have said that I would recommend the apartment to a friend but I have to add that personally I don't think it's big enough to accommodate 4 people comfortably.

We had a lovely week at The Mast, the balcony was particularly brilliant as it faced south and was protected from the winds, so we got every second of the sun that we could, even when it was too cold to enjoy the beach (we had a bit of a cloudy week). It was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants, but very peaceful - we could sleep with the window open and only hear the birds. I would definitely recommend this apartment (although not if you struggle with stairs due to the spiral staircase).

This was a clean and cosy property. The living/dining room and kitchen are quite small but the bedrooms, especially the upstairs room, are a good size and ideal for older children. the Mast is ideally situated for shops, cafes and the beach and the benefit of a parking space is a huge plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it for families who have older children or people who can manage the spiral staircase. A great holiday, thank you!

    Framlingham Castle
Framlingham Castle in Suffolk was once a stronghold of the powerful earls and dukes of Norfolk. It is now owned by English Heritage and is open to the public to view. Activities include a castle wall walk, events and exhibitions. Cafe, Shop and family friendly.

    Orford Castle

In the dainty town of Orford lies the Grand Keep of the original Orford Castle. An historic piece of architecture that stands tall on the land and was originally built by Henry II to protect the port. Get dizzy from the spiral staircase and catch your breath for the great views overlooking Orford Ness.

    Dunwich Beach

The sea has slowly been nibbling away at the once thriving seaport of Dunwich. In the 14th Century it matched London in size and was the capital of the Kingdom and in the Domesday book of 1086 it's population was over 3000. Now around 240 inhabitants live in this historic village.
