"Got off to a bad start, I booked early to avoid price rises only to have the price reduce by £40 before I paid the final amount 10 weeks out but I was still expected the old amount, I can understand with a few weeks to go but the reduction was 15 weeks in advanced. It was comfy and well equipped, the Sky was a nice touch though it was a shame it was connected to the internet which give a best experience. It was one of the best Studio properties we have stayed at.Real downside was the access to the property, restricted drive, narrow roads and a school meant it was a nightmare trying to get to and from the property we seemed to catch school time every time and the parents didn't seem to have a brain cell between them just blocking the road unnecessarily. It was easier to walk the half mile to the chip shop than get the car out, that how bad it was.The speed cameras that were round every corner got very wearing"

"This exceeded our expectations! Such a beautiful few days celebrating our anniversary at silver trees! Trevor and his family are lovely, welcoming hosts and were at hand for any questions. We stayed in S112818 and had a wonderful time, watching the deer from our window and even a stag, enjoyed feeding them and watching them each morning as we had a fantastic view from the double door windows! The lodge was spacious and clean with all the facilities needed for self catering, although the cannock chase park is just a few minutes walk away with a cafe selling hot and cold lunches and cakes. Perfect for walkers and bikers. The onsite pool was also a lovely touch as we got to have a private swim each day, very clean and well looked after. Didn't want this trip to end! Highly recommend this!"

"The isolated and remote location of S39670 was utterly idyllic, very warm, scrupulously clean and comfortable, well equipped and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the bed-linen sparkling white and clean, as were the towels, which were also fluffy and soft. The WIFI signal was excellent and problem-fre - useful as there's no mobile 'phone signal for several miles in every direction (which, for me, was a plus.) Ample parking space. The owner was very helpful, without being at all intrusive of my privacy. I particularly liked the fact that, in every particular, the cottage was supplied with clear information (on, for example refuse collection) but without overburdening the holidaymaker with tons of unnecessary information."

"Fantastic cottage, in a remote location with views across the Dales. The kitchen had everything that you needed and more! The bed was comfortable, which was important after you’ve enjoyed the beautiful countryside. Bathroom had a great shower, and deep bath! And enough hot water to fill it. The only negative thing (in my opinion) was the lounge seating wasn’t that comfortable, after a long day walking I like to relax in a comfy chair and put my feet up, and this wasn’t possible, I think a little rethinking and removing one of the tables this would be possible. Overall we had a great stay and loved our time in the dales and will be back."
