Tolldish Cottage is consistently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and beautiful decor. Nestled in a peaceful setting, it offers a cosy and welcoming atmosphere with modern kitchen equipment and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches and the host's excellent communication, although some mention the bathroom facilities could be improved.
Guests unanimously commend the cottage for its cleanliness, noting it as very clean and immaculate, which indicates a high standard of hygiene and care.
While the reviews mention a peaceful setting and proximity to local attractions, there is insufficient detail to accurately score the location.
The comfort of the cottage is highlighted, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the overall atmosphere cosy and warm, suggesting a high level of satisfaction in this area.
The modern kitchen equipment and overall presentation are praised, but several reviews raise concerns about the bathroom facilities, such as the lack of a proper shower and a lock on the door, which affects the score.
The host's thoughtful gestures, like the welcome hamper, are well-received, although it should be noted that such gifts are a kind bonus and not a guaranteed amenity.

The cottage has been very thoughtfully & tastefully decorated, the kitchen being my favourite. Joy has been wonderful and extremely accommodating for us, we were left needing urgent accommodation within a couple of hours notice due to issues with our home, and I have to stay they accommodated us very quickly & I couldnât have asked for more. If we didnât live so close by we would definitely return time & time again as it is such a beautiful place. Everything that you would need the property has. Thank you for such a wonderful stay & for being such a lovely accommodating owner!

Beautifully presented and incredibly clean. Our only issue was the bathroom; which has come up in most of the reviews. For 6 people sharing (we were 4 adults plus a toddler), it was quite a challenge, especially with no lock on the door! Very conscious not to allow water over the side of the bath when showering, near on impossible. Other than that, would absolutely recommend Tolldish Cottage, it is a fabulous home.

It is in a nice location with plenty of places to visit nearby. The cottage was clean, comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. The only criticisms we had is that the fridge was not really big enough for a family of 6; and the bathroom situation ie downstairs and through the lounge was not ideal for us especially with regard to night-time trips to the loo. In the dark. A lock on the bathroom door would be a welcome addition and we couldnât see why there isnât one. Also, there is no proper shower so not being able to have a decent stand up shower was quite inconvenient especially with no lock on the door! Having said all that however we would be happy to stay here again in the future as the other aspects of the place did outweigh the inconvenience of the bathroom and we would all be prepared for it.
