"lovely cosy tranquil cottage well appointed close to wroxham roys stores have everything you could possibly want even a petrol station little further to aylsham and n walsham.meadow cottage great for sitting out in sun or shade of delightful copper beech tree, or against suntrap wall. retreat to summerhouse if breezy.community shop well stocked and staff friendly(neatishead). barton boardwalk onto broad short walk turning right from cottage gate but care needed roads narrow and no footway. although traffic rare comes quite quickly.meadow cottage dates from1903 but is modernised to 21st century standard with light airy rooms and delightful child's single room and well as two exceedingly comfortable double rooms.bathroom has fine shower than does not scald or freeze you at switch on. wifi very good, also tv and dab radio excellent. good modern electric cooker fridge freezer. utensils adequate.we saw muntjack deer, grouse family , fox, white barn owl, jay, from windows/garden. also lovely dawn chorus and birdsong throughout the day."

"First impressions were really positive when we saw the cottage in a good location and loads parking.Flowers, cake and milk were a nice touch but didn't make up for the cleanliness. We all thought that the property could do with a deep clean, carpets around edges had not been hoovered and there was thick dust around the beds. We also found numerous spiders and cobwebs around the house and under wall units in kitchen and in some of the base units to an unacceptable level so had to vacuum before we unpacked. Grass was an unacceptable level. Windows were dirty and needed cleaning. Bins were overflowing with rubbish, we did manage to drag it up the long drive but might be a problem for someone who is elderly. Summer house was unpleasant to sit in due to flying ants and numerous weeds. We had an issue with a bird coming down the chimney and pooing in places because it hasn't been capped off properly also there was an unpleasant dog smell in the lounge. Overall the property was tired and unclean and very expensive"

"We had an excellent week at Chestney House, helped by fab weather for our week. We had no issues whilst we were there. This was a family holiday for six adults and two babies and the accommodation provided everything we needed for us all. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating and a separate dining room and the kitchen is very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and two of the bed rooms had sea views. I suppose if occupants are all travelling separately the only issue is the parking, there is only room for one car at the rear of the property, via the owner we bought a couple of two week parking permits for the area which meant we could park across the road which made life easier and we were able to use this permit in Kings Lynn when we visited. The house is a very short walk to the shops and seafront, but does not suffer from noise. So I would thoroughly recommend the accommodation and whilst we had no problems the owner is very approachable and available should you have any issues."

"This was a great place for a family holiday. The place was clean and well equipped when we arrived. The location was excellent and Hunstanton has everything for a young family our grandchildren are 10, 4, 4 and 6.Tv and WiFi worked well and the seperate dining room and lounge worked really well. There were good toys and games available. A joy for me was that there was a great deal to do and good shops within walking distance. The separate loo and bathrooms was great with8 of us. The only slight disappointment was the lack of a dishwashers. Hand washing dishes for 8 is time consuming. The washing machine was a great help. Anyone booking should be aware that there are a lot of stairs to climb as the apartment is in a four storey building and occupies the top 3 floors. We had a great time and have already recommended it to friends one of whom has already made enquiries for next year"

"There were 8 of us staying at the stables (4 adults and 4 grandchildren). The games room was excellent for entertaining the children on our return to the cottage each day. Harry was very helpful and the welcome pack was second to none! (thank you Harry). We enjoyed a BBQ in the garden one evening. The cottage itself was great, with plenty of room for everyone. I particularly liked the fact the kitchen, dining and lounge areas were all one as this allowed for plenty of conversation whilst preparing the meals! We visited Lakenheath and watched the American jets taking off and then the children went swimming in the river at Santon Downham; we also spent an enjoyable day at Bressingham Steam Museum. We all thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Stables - thank you again Harry."
