"The cottage was just the job for two people. Comfortable, reasonably equipped and roomy enough. The place was spotless and the mattress was firm which suited us. The shower was adequate but was tricky to get right and not very powerful. The hotel it is attached to was quite old fashioned which you will either like or not. We didn’t eat there so cannot comment on the food. The surrounding grounds were lovely. The location is quite a bit out of Falmouth but a taxi is less than a tenner and there is a bus 5 minutes walk away. Also 15 minutes away is a great pub. Good food, busy and very friendly. A shop too so what more do you need? This is a good place and I recommend it. If you’re into dogs you can bring them. If you’re not then the slight doggy smell might be slightly off putting. But it went over a couple of days (or we got used to it) so not a show stopper. The price is ok. You get what you pay for and I’d happily repeat the experience. We had a lovely time. Hope this review helps."

"We had a lovely holiday using the appartment as a base. It was reasonably comfortable. On first glance it was fine but we were quite disappointed initially with the cleanliness. It felt rather like someone was living there and had just gone out. There was washing up left in the drainer, food in the fridge and freezer and some gym clothes in the bottom of a wardrobe. It wasn't very well equipped - only one wine glass, and nothing to use in the oven except the grill pan. There was no plug in the bathroom sink ( or in the kitchen, but there was a bowl). There was little in the way of instructions, though towards the end of the week we found a few things in a sliding cupboard which wasn't immediately obvious. The TV in the bedroom (in the photographs) must have fallen off the wall and done some damage so the fittings had been draped with a scarf. I appreciate there may not have been time to fix this but it didn't look good."

"Good location. Well organised site, which provides a very pleasant and relaxing location with excellent walks across the countryside, and only a fifteen minute walk to the two closest beaches. Property was very clean, well laid out and well equipped. The Wifi was a true Wifi and not part of the site provided Wifi, which was a pleasant surprise. We had elderly relatives with us, so the TV was important to them, and it was good to find they could watch what they wanted an not be limited to what the site chose to allow. The only negative observations were that the fridge was very small and the freezer box would not hold an ice cream tub, also the taps would benefit from being quarter turn as our relative with arthritis had a lot of trouble using them."

"Lovely stay at Blue Skies - decor a quirky but stylish mix of period detail and more modern pieces. Kitchen very well equipped - not that we ate in much with foodie heaven Falmouth on the doorstep! Only thing missing was a toaster - even cake baking equipment was provided should the need arise! Bedroom, living room (sofa bed if sleeping 4) and dining room cosy and comfy. Would say take warm slippers and dressing gown if staying in Autumn/Winter as bathroom was a little chilly at night. Only 10 minute walk from town/harbour but hills back quite steep - helped us walk off big dinners! Also 10-15 minutes walk from lovely Gyllyngvase beach. Would definitely visit again."
