We had a very cosy and comfortable stay at Ty Newydd. The cottage was warm at all times and the log burner was a real bonus. The cottage is on a steep narrow lane and parking can be tricky. Nevertheless, you are within a stone's throw of some quite magical scenery which is a must for walkers and nature lovers. Dolgellau is a great base for exploration and has some lovely shops and pubs. It is enchanting in all seasons.

The location of the cottage was perfect for exploring the area and attractions we wanted to visit during our time there. We found it very peaceful and quiet. The welcome basket was a nice touch, we enjoyed the local produce offered to us.
