There are three quality bedrooms, a welcoming sitting room and luxury kitchen including comfy seating and TV. Outside this delightful Dolgellau holiday cottage there are two sitting areas, perfect for dining alfresco while enjoying the wonderful mountain view. Dolgellau's pretty town centre is only a five minute walk from this Dolgellau cottage, offering a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful National Park and stunning coastline.
This Dolgellau cottage is also close to a golf course and three miles from the renowned mountain bike centre at Coed-y-Brenin. Only eight miles away are the beautiful sandy beaches of Barmouth and Fairbourne, as well as Harlech Castle, a World Heritage Site. This is a lovely Dolgellau cottage, ideal for a luxury holiday at any time of the year.
Located in the heart of southern Snowdonia, between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the sea, is the small market town of Dolgellau. This fabulous holiday base is a prefect spot from which to combine the many outdoor pursuits on offer in Snowdonia with the soft sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey. With a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat the town is well placed for access to other nearby coastal resorts. This is a quiet, peaceful location, ideal for outdoor activities amongst the superb scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches.

Wet week, but garden looks lovely from inside! Shower drain very slow, drive to house very tight but we knew that before we arrived. Owner very helpful. Hope to be back next year.

The house has everything we need and makes a great base for exploring the local area. The host is lovely and gave us some great suggestions for places to visit that we missed last year. Would be good if the TV in the kitchen could be fixed

We came to Llechwedd last year and, deciding quite late that weâd like an August holiday, were delighted that Llechwedd was still available for our dates this year. I looked no further for alternative accommodation as we had had a very positive experience last year. This is a very well maintained and equipped property. It is spacious and comfortable in most aspects. Guests have commented on the low seating in the lounge and, for some guests, this may be a problem. The steep drive is often commented on too, but it shouldnât be a problem for most vehicles. There are far more positive features than negative. The property is close enough to walk to Dolgellauâs centre or to the estuary for walks or cycle rides. There are several places of interest or entertainment within a short car journey. The owners have taken great care to establish a holiday home offering its guests a great base from which to explore the area. The information booklet is in need of updating, perhaps in a slightly larger text and some important details are missing. For example, it tells you the day of refuse and recycling collections, but not where to take bins to be collected. We know the area quite well, but the flyers included were, for the most part, out of date. This is a minor negative comment. I would have no hesitation in recommending Llechwedd to other families.
