What our customers say about their holidays

This beautifully converted ‘cow shed’ was fantastic.

There are too many great things to mention everything, but this place suited us perfectly. Nesta, the lovely owner, made us feel very welcome with a bottle of fizz in the fridge cooling down and the hot tub heating up. The location was stunning, one side overlooking the sea and the other the mountains (which we explored). The local beach was fun to explore, and we found a lovely walk up the local mountains (Three Sisters, I think) with views to die for. We explored Angelsey which was stunning, Betws y Coed, went south to beaches in Pwhelli and Abersoch and went hiking up Snowdon. We could have filled up another week with things to do! Then, when you’ve had a busy day and want to relax, the hot tub’s the absolute place to be. The cottage has everything from lovely fluffy towels to milk and bubbly in the fridge. The shower and bathroom were lovely, beds comfy and kitchen was fully equipped. Phone reception (on 3 and EE) wasn’t too good but the WiFi worked well. Had a Tesco delivery just after we arrived, that worked perfectly. The track up to the cottage is very bumpy, but is only 1/4 mile, so not too bad. There wasn’t much privacy in the garden and hot tub area, but after a couple of days we got used to it. The garden was lovely for our dog, although it’s not fenced in, so you have to keep an eye on your dog all the time. All-in-all this place gets a 10 out of 10 from us, superb holiday, thank you!

Lovely well maintained and quiet holiday park.

Cottage was pretty basic but a good base to explore the surrounding area. Thank you for the tea, coffee and milk when we arrived, was much needed after travelling for a few hours. Nice and clean, although it would have been nice to have the use of a hoover or even a dust pan and brush as floors downstairs and up are laminate flooring so if you take your furry friend with you there will likely be dog hairs everywhere (we actually went out and bought a dust pan and brush for this reason). The two sofas are in desperate need of replacing, they've definitely seen better days, not comfortable at all, you can feel the frame of the sofas in some places. Kitchen was stocked well with pots, pans and utensils, everything needed for cooking meals, could do with a few more glasses though. Beds were fairly comfortable but mattresses are pretty thin and mattress in the room with the bunk bed you could feel the spring through. Maybe a mattress topper would help? The outside area to the front was lovely and a nice suntrap in the afternoon. It's a shame the area in the back isn't enclosed though as had two of the neighbours dogs wandering about by the back door. It would have been nice to have had some instructions left to say about what to do with bedding and towels after our stay. Overall an enjoyable holiday and lovely holiday park and would book again if the sofas were replaced.

      Absolutely loved our stay.

The holiday park was very clean and beautiful throughout, with great facilities for dog walkers. The accommodation was like home from home. The house reminded us of a terraced house and it was perfect for our family of 4, plus the dog. Our stay was during the heatwave, so by the Wednesday it was too hot to take the dog out, so we took advantage of the sites woodlands, which was perfectly shaded and cool for the dog, so we took the dog into the woodlands and along the river, during the day and went out in the car after 8pm. Loads of lovely local places to visit. My husband and son climbed Snowdon twice and we visited a variety of nearby attractions, with the furthest being 45 minutes drive. There was a tesco, morrisons, asda, home bargains and McDonald's only 4 minutes drive away, which was convenient. My only suggestion would be to tidy up the back garden, but that's all. The site was stunning, very big, attractive and spotless. We would definitely go again.

The cottage was easy to find, just round the corner from a corner shop which was handy. Walking distance to a lovely little beach. A good location for travelling round the area in a car. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfy. On arrival there was a smell of damp that hit you when walking through the door. Looking at the ceiling it seems there has been a leak in the past which may be causing the smell. However on having a shower the following morning, the drain seemed blocked as water wasn't going down. We had to use towels to dry the floor as the tray overflowed so this may also be a reason. We also found the check in and out times a bit mean, 4pm check in but then out by 10am. Didn't think it was worth the money. It was OK for 1 night but I'm glad we hadn't booked a longer stay.

The whole family enjoyed our holiday a Y Beudy.

So quiet and peaceful and a lovely sea view. The hot tub was great at the end of a busy day. The grandkids loved the horses and foals and we were lucky to see one that was only a few hours old. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and the bottle of prosecco that was awaiting us was enjoyed whilst sat in the hot tub. Nestar and her husband were so welcoming and very helpful. The rural location makes it ideal for a relaxing break but still lots of places to visit within half hours drive. Beaches close by and a country park which on this occasion we didnt visit. The air museum we came across on a trip to the beach it was really interesting and great for a rainy day. We would definately recommend a stay here and hopefully will return
