What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mrs Williams - Verified booking

the bungalow was in a very clean, the bed in the master suite needs to be on solid flooring as it slides everytime you move. the garden was advertised as fully enclosed however this was not the case but the owners could fully enclose it very easily, unfortunatly on the second day we were there, the boiler started leaking fuel fumes into the bungalow, the owners did respond straight away and called in an engineer. he came the next day and changed a seal on the boilder and said this should solve the problem, however it only made things worse. The fumes got so bad it the engineer said he would return the next day with a new heat pump and this would fix the probems. By Day four we had to leave as the whole bungalow was flooded with the fumes. this made it unbareable and hard to breath. i called the letting company to find somewhere else for us to stay which they refused as the owners were trying to fix the problem and they were just the agents for the letting. Our whole holiday had been ruined at this point with myself needing medical attention due to the fumes. We decided as the letting company would not find us somewhere else we were forced to go back home.

We booked this break for some much needed down time and it turned out to be perfect for just that. The accommodation itself was faultless. Very clean & tidy and had everything you would need and more. The kitchen was probably the best equipped in any of the places we have stayed. The location was perfect for us. A 5 min drive to the little village of Aberdaron where there are a few shops, cafes, pubs and a fish and chip shop/restaurant, along with the beautiful beach. We walked there which took about 35 mins and is a bit hilly but it's a nice walk. The views from the property are stunning and we saw some beautiful sunsets. It was perfect for taking the dog as he could just roam around the garden getting to know the neighbours (the sheep in the next field). If you want a walking holiday there are lots of walks to do here. The owners are very friendly and helpful and were on hand up the road at their farmhouse if we needed them. This property will definitely be on my list of ones to go back to. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A very comfortable and well refurbished Cottage.

A great place to stay with easy access to great walks on the beautiful north wales coast. The cottage, which has been expertly converted from what was once a dairy, it is very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. The cottage was perfectly clean and he welcome pack was excellent. The hot tub is an extra bonus. Carole (with an e btw!) and James were excellent hosts We had car problems on the journey to the cottage and were very late arriving. We kept in contact supportive. We were welcomed by Carole who lives next door James and Carole put me in contact with the local garage who, much to my surprise, were able to diagnose the problem and obtain and fit the necessary part the following day. It was a pleasure to chat to Carole although, as noted before, she was not at all intrusive. The history of the building was very interesting at one point it was a general store, haberdashery and private clinic all run by the same person! The cottage is highly recommended

First of all Carole the host who lives next door is so lovely.

Not Intrusive at all but very knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful . The cottage is stunning with everything you could need provided. Including fresh towels delivered to the door half way through our stay. The Hot tub was amazing. The cottage is perfectly positioned in Rhiw which is only a short 7 min drive into the gorgeous unspoiled seaside village Aberdaron. Which has 2 pubs, a couple of restaurants/ cafes, a chippy, a gift shop, and a fab bakery which was a little overpriced.there is also a spar shop too. We didn’t want to go home after our weeklong stay Whistling sands is a must for walkers and beach lovers I cannot wait to return to the Lyn Peninsula Just one thing take it slow and easy driving on the very scarey roads It’s £5 to park on the national trust car parks at Aberdaron and Porthor (whistling sands) all day

Me and my partner couldn't get enough of this stunning cottage.

The owner was a lovely lady and showed us around, demonstrated how to operate the hot tub and told us about some of the local spots to visit before handing over the keys. The cottage itself was really nice inside with a decently-sized bedroom and a nicely-outfitted adjoining bathroom. There is a wood burner in the living room (which we declined to use during our stay) but there is also central heating which nicely cooks the place in a few short minutes. The bed was comfortable enough, though a bit springier than I'm used to. We used the hot tub in the dead of night and it was amazing. Honestly, I couldn't fault the place and would absolutely consider staying there again.
