Guests appreciate the clean, well-equipped kitchen and the cosy atmosphere, with many enjoying the walks and beaches nearby. The property's character and history add to its appeal, although some guests suggest updates and maintenance could enhance the experience.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy upon arrival, contributing to a warm welcome. However, a few reports of cleanliness issues slightly lower the score, indicating room for improvement in ensuring consistency.

The location is highly praised for its peace, quiet, and stunning views, with easy access to walks and beaches. The remote setting is appreciated for its natural beauty and wildlife, making it a highlight for many guests.

The cottage is generally found to be cosy and comfortable, especially with the fire lit. Some guests, however, mention that the period furniture can feel cluttered and the upper bedrooms have limited headroom, affecting the comfort level for some.

While the kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom is newly renovated, there are mixed reviews about the overall facilities and maintenance. Some guests suggest the need for updates and better maintenance, particularly in the upper bedrooms and bathroom.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like bird food for the feeders and the provision of essentials such as dishwasher tablets. While gifts are not consistently mentioned, the attention to detail in providing these items is noted.

There is no point in the room where you can stand upright and we are not tall people. They are not suitable for children either as there is no Stairgate at the top. Also, there is no spare bedding. If someone is unwell or a child wets the bed in the night you need bedding immediately. No time to put the washing machine on.The rest of the cottage is small but cosy and the view is fantastic. Also, the garden is well maintained.Another downside is that this is the first cottage we have been to where there was not even the smallest welcome pack.Food delivery expected later in the evening but we could not even make a cup of tea on arrival.
