About this property

Cri'r Wylan, 'Call of the Gulls', is the perfect name for this cottage as it's just a couple of minutes stroll to the sea and superb sandy/ dog friendly beach at Benllech.

Cri'r Wylan, 'Call of the Gulls', is the perfect name for this quaint little cottage as it's just a couple of minutes' stroll to the sea and superb dog-friendly sandy beach. Benllech is a traditional seaside resort with cafes, ice cream parlours, restaurants and fish and chip shops. The Anglesey Coast path stretches along this stunning coastline to Moelfre in one direction and Red Wharf Bay in the other.  Beaumaris is 9 miles, Caernarfon 16 miles away.

This compact cottage is all on one level. The living room has two comfortable sofas and a small table with chairs. There is also a Freeview TV/DVD and WiFi. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge and microwave. The freezer and washing machine are in the lean-to shed at the side of the property. There are two bedrooms and a shower room, but the arrangement of these is rather unusual! Access to the shower room and WC is through the small bunk bedroom or from the outside; access to the double bedroom is through the bunk beroom and shower room or from the outside through the shower room. The shower room has a tiled shower cubicle and small washbasin, and a separate WC. The double bedroom has built in storage. Heating is by night storage heaters and electric heaters. Outside is a patio area with table and chairs. Steep steps lead up to further seating areas with great views over the rooftops to the sea.

"No need to bring your own windbreak or buckets and spades as the owner has thoughtfully provided a selection for you" Jacky- North Wales Property Manager

The beaches of Anglesey are world famous, whether you are looking for traditional sandy beaches, watersports, rugged rocky coastline or adventures. There are beaches where you can hire canoes, surfboards and kayaks or why not try coasteering! There are many places of historical interest all within a short drive. Copper Mountain at Amlwch has a visitor centre exploring the ancient copper mining history of the area or visit Beaumaris Castle and Gaol or the National Trust's Plas Newydd. For the children, when they tire of the beach, there is the popular Anglesey Sea Zoo or the Snowdonia National Park to explore, about 15 miles away.
