What our customers say about their holidays

We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house, We particularly liked the bath and the kitchen where we could spill out onto the terrace and enjoy alfresco dining overlooking the stunning views.

The dishwasher and the washing machine in the separate utility were much appreciated as was the indoor clothes rack and the outside washing line to suit all weathers. Many thanks. We would have appreciated access onto the farmland as we were surrounded by fields but with no right of way for walkers. Could this be agreed with neighbouring farmers / landowners do you think? Such a strange feeling not to be able to ramble over the land to explore and immerse ourselves in the beautiful Scottish scenery. Also the two single beds could do with bed bed ends as it was more comfortable to sleep with head at the foot of the bed to make best use of the light from the sky light and to reach the electric sockets for devices. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay and especially enjoyed our trip on the Harry Potter Steam train and walk in the gorge just beyond Ben Nevis Visitor Centre. It was breathtaking.

We had a brilliant stay in this beautiful little house.

Taorbeag has been really well thought out with the living space upstairs to make the most of the fabulous view of Ben Nevis, we loved sitting in the morning drinking our coffee and watching the sunrise over the mountains. The location is brilliant, with so much to do in the local area that a week wasn't enough time. John and Carol are really friendly and left us some lovely welcome gifts which was really kind. The shower is a particular highlight, and the beds and sofa are comfy. The house is really well equipped with everything you could need! The only slight issue is the wifi isn't particularly fast but it was enough, and there is mobile internet signal in the area so not a big problem. We had a fantastic stay and were very sad to leave!

We have had a wonderful week in this cottage .

When you walk in it instantly ticks all the boxes .It is bright airy and very clean .It has all the equipment you need. We were four adults and one child, plenty of space . The downstairs en-suite bedroom was one of the reasons we chose the cottage and it was so helpful to one of our party who has poor mobility The cottage is situated a short drive from Fort William, overlooking a quiet valley. The views from every window stunning. Ben Nevis looks so close. We were blessed with beautiful sunny weather nearly all week, which made it extra special that we could sit outside and enjoy the views. We would highly recommend this cottage. A big thank you to the owners who greeted us with two bottles of wine

This is our second stay at this property.

It is a lovely cottage with beautiful views,Ben Nevis looks so close. It is well placed for Fort William, only a ten minute drive.A very peaceful location ,a cuckoo heard every day we were there, sheep up to the fence. We were lucky with wall to wall sunshine. The cottage is lovely, clean well maintained and provided for everything. The advantage for us is that one of our family has a mobility problem and the cottage has a large en-suite downstairs bedroom. The property is a good size overall .The upstairs bedrooms are lovely. The beds are a good size and comfortable. The two bottles of wine and flowers on arrival were much appreciated. Well recommended.

The cottage is very comfortable with contemporary fittings and maintained to a high standard.

It had everything we needed for an excellent stay. It is located in a wild and beautiful glen with outstanding views. Although isolated it has a decent, though slow, wifi installation, but there was no service on our cell phones (Vodafone). Sky TV was an added bonus in view of the less than clement weather - it rained every day! Fort William is about 10 mins away with an excellent range of shops and restaurants - single track road, but very little traffic. Would like to have met the owners/housekeeper but they kept themselves to themselves and did not intrude on our privacy. Would not hesitate to book this cottage again.
