About this Holiday Cottage

Marine View is an ideally located cottage, just a stones throw from the old cobbles of Church Street with fantastic views of the harbour and swing bridge. The cottage is accessed off Church Street, steps to the front door leading into a modern kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge.

We provide a stylish base for families of up to four with easy access to award winning sandy beaches and fantastic attractions.

Our self catering holiday home boasts full furnishings, an equipped kitchen and harbour views from the top bedroom.  

Inside

Leading off the kitchen is the living room and stairs to the first floor. The living room / dining room has views over the harbour, large comfy sofa and chair, TV with Sky and Sky movies, WII with games and a dining table that seats 4 people.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Upstairs the double bedroom also has views over the harbour, plenty of storage with a chest of drawers, wardrobe and large dressing table with mirror also with a large flatscreen TV. The bathroom has a bath, wc, sink and large shower cubicle ideal for quick shower or a long soak after a long day exploring the beautiful countryside and beaches Whitby has to offer.

The top floor has a staircase opening into a twin bedroom with a velux window to make the most of the harbour views. Plenty of storage space in this room with a chest of drawers and small dressing table. Also includes a large flat screen TV. The old beamed ceilings give the room a traditional feel.

Other Things to Note

Beds are made with fresh linen for your arrival. Please bring you own towels and beach towels. The property has full central heating throughout and all bills are included in the rental price.

As the staircase opens into the bedroom, care should be taken with small children. The cottage has wood floors throughout and is open all year for short breaks and longer stays. 

1 small well behaved pet welcome at a small charge.

Around and About

Marine View is nestled just off the cobbled Church Street and is just around the corner from the harbour, Swing Bridge and the famous Whitby Abbey.

Whitby town centre is a few minutes’ walk from the front door and boasts and array of unique shops, restaurants, cafes and attractions including boat tours and museums.

The cottage is perfectly located for touring the Yorkshire Coast with a number of seaside towns nearby, accessible via car or by foot along the nearby coastal paths including Bridlington, Filey and Robin Hoods Bay.
