About this Pub Accommodation

Welcome to the Falcon Inn on the North York Moors, a family run property with newly refurbished bar, large beer garden and eight well appointed ensuite guest rooms. Ideal for relaxing breaks throughout the year, guests can enjoy floral displays in the summer and snowy landscapes in winter. We are ideal for guests exploring one of the nearby walks or cycle routes and days out to the coast with Whitby and Scarborough both set within easy reach.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

We offer a choice of eight ensuite guest rooms including some with Forest Views and Premier Rooms. Each has a TV/ DVD player, tea/ coffee making supplies, bath towels and bed linen. The accommodation is situated in our converted stone stables and has its own courtyard overlooking the manicured lawns. Single, twin and double rooms are available and one of twin guest rooms is pet friendly at an extra charge.

Breakfast

A cooked breakfast created from local produce is included in the room rate. A choice of scrambled or poached eggs is available and we can also serve boiled eggs with soldiers. These are accompanied by cereals, fruit juices, herbal tea, ground or decaffeinated coffee and you can purchase our King Breakfast at an additional supplement. Breakfast is available from 9.00am with earlier breakfasts provided by arrangement. 

Other Facilities

Our restaurant serves a delicious range of classic Great British dishes for dinner, a lighter lunch menu, afternoon tea and a weekly Sunday Lunch. All are created from locally sourced and seasonal ingredients - hearty and wholesome with a contemporary twist. There is a seasonal log fire in the bar and a large outdoor seating area where you can relax. After your meal, relax with a fine cask ale in our newly refurbished bar.

Our countryside setting is ideal for private functions and our dedicated function room can seat up to forty attendees for a party, wedding reception, anniversary, family reunion or Christmas celebration. A marquee can be erected in summer and our function has its own bar and toilet facilities.

Availability

Seasonal dinner, bed and breakfast rates may be available. In addition to our Bed and breakfast rooms we also have a range of glamping pods which are ideal for up to two adults and two children. Contact us for further details.

Our Inn is peacefully situated on the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors between Whitby and Scarborough. Local walks and cycle routes include the Lyke Wake Walk, Falcon Flyer challenge Walk, The Cleveland Way and the Coast to Coast route.
