About this Holiday Cottage

Providing peaceful and secluded North York Moors accommodation in Newtondale near Pickering, Kale Pot Cottage can't be beaten for rest, relaxation and the chance to unwind in beautiful rural surroundings. Enjoy a stay in modern comfort, with everything you need, only 45 minutes from historic York and 30 minutes from the Scarborough and Whitby coast.

We've furnished and equipped the cottage to a very high standard, and our efforts have been rewarded with an Enjoy England Gold Award. Foxes, badgers, deer, owls and woodpeckers regularly spend their time by the cottage, and it's a perfect base for walking and cycling holidays in some of the UK's most beautiful countryside.

Inside

Kale Pot Cottage offers plenty of space inside and out, including a three-acre paddock and a BBQ area. The fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, a cooker, a fridge and a microwave amongst other appliances, and there is a separate dining area.

There are laundry facilities too, along with small freezer. An HD TV, DVD player and CD player can be found in the lounge with its views of Newtondale and cosy log fire. The property features plenty of space to store walking and cycling equipment. 

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The cottage includes an en-suite double bedroom and a twin bedroom (with space for an additional bed) and wetroom downstairs.

Ample parking is provided.

Other Things to Note

If you're travelling with a baby or toddler we'll happily provide a stairgate, cot and highchair.

Pets by arrangement.

The changeover day is Saturday.
