About this Holiday Cottage
Situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Porlock, Splatt Barn is a beautifully refurbished two bedroom property boasting uninteruppted views across the marsh towards Porlock Bay. The cottage offers spacious accommodation ideal for families with older children or two couples exploring the area's famous country walks. There are two bedrooms, two living rooms including one with a balcony, a private garden and large kitchen/ dining room with adjoining utility room. A wood burner stove in the downstairs lounge helps keep the cottage cosy throughout the year and there is also a conservatory where you can relax and enjoy the garden views.
The cottage is well equipped for a self catering break and is fitted with a Rangemaster oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer. Both bedrooms are presented as doubles and there is a modern family bathroom. Bed linen, towels, duvets and blankets are all provided and we also supply a welcome pack with tea, sugar, milk, coffee, salt, pepper, herbs, cleaning materials and toilet rolls. Off road parking is also available at the cottage plus there is a garage for your use.

Short breaks may be available during off peak times. Please note we do not accept pets or children under the age of eleven years. Check in time for the property is after 4pm and please depart by 10 on your final day.

The cottage is six miles from the coastal resort of Minehead which offers a range of supermarkets, banks and other amenities. The village of Porlock is home to various independent shops, art galleries, restaurants and tea rooms or visit nearby Porlock Weir which is 1.5 miles away for local glass and textile suppliers.
