Coach House View in Porlock Weir (Somerset) is a former Coach House with oh, what a view! This detached, unique property can sleep up to 8 guests (max 6 adults) and is family and pet-friendly, benefiting from an enclosed, private garden with stunning views across just two fields to the coastline.
Accommodation
The kitchen is well equipped to cater for a large group of 8 guests. The Rangemaster cooker has two ovens plus separate grill, and 5 gas hobs plus a hot plate for plenty of cooking space, the integrated fridge/freezer, microwave and full-size dishwasher. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. There is also a utility with additional sink and plenty more cupboard space if required.
A television (with Freeview) is in the lounge and wireless broadband is available at no extra cost.
The games area has a pool table and table-football to amuse the children, and adults alike!
A cot and/or high chair can be provided on request.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Coach House View has central heating throughout which is controlled by a thermostat and can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you to the beach or on day trips.
A tea tray is provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive.
Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, and surface cleaner will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided per toilet.
*Please note, due to the rural nature of this property (Porlock Weir is literally the end of the line!), the wifi is likely to be slower than if you are used to urban speeds, especially if several guests are trying to use it at the same time. Unfortunately this is beyond our control and therefore we cannot guarantee the wifi will be reliable for work purposes or fast enough for streaming services during your stay.

Location, location ! And the absolutely massive size of the property, everything was absolutely fabulous !

We had a wonderful stay - 5 of us including 97 year old father who slept in the downstairs twin room. This was excellent for him but we would have liked handles on the shower walls. Itinerary says no hairdryers but they were provided. Superb location with walks to & on the beach & through the woods.... Porlock Weir is well worth a visit - huge cream teas, Coach View House is ideal for touring Exmoor & the coast- Exmoor pony gathering was great fun. Only problem was with Morrisons food delivery where Coach House View did not pop up in the post code drop down - Porlock Vale House did feature so I selected this with a comment asking for delivery to Coach View house - I rang Mark twice & left a message to this effect but received no reply . Mandy, on site, resolved the situation & diverted the delivery to us. House is very well equipped - just missing dishwasher tablets so do bring your own. Gas BBQ was excellent as was enclosed garden for dog. Altogether a super, spacious, well equipped house in a wonderful location - thoroughly recommended .

An amazing location well equipped close to beautiful villages in North Somerset Good friendly people around if needed. Lots of space good garden barbecue etc No hesitation in recommending this location
