Splatt Barn, Porlock (Somerset) is a luxury getaway with modern conveniences. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Porlock, Splatt Barn enjoys uninterrupted views across the marshes to Porlock Bay and is only an easy walk into Porlock. Sleeps 4, sorry no children under 11 years.
Accommodation
Splatt Barn is fitted with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, and Rangemaster oven with hob. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
The TV in the sitting room has a box with all the free view channels. There is a TV and DVD player in the master bedroom and another TV in the other bedroom also. Wireless broadband is available in the property.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. The central heating can be adjusted to suit your preferences and the seasons. Splatt Barn has a wood-burner in the sitting room; a basket of logs and kindling will be provided.
Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips.
A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt, pepper and a few herbs or spices available.
Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and surface cleaner will be present in the property. Toilet rolls will be provided.
One dog (maximum of 1 dog) welcome per booking, please do not allow your dog on the furniture or upstairs, thank you for your cooperation.

Lovely base for exploring Exmoor. Everything we needed was here and it was great to have shops, pubs and the beach a short walk away. The Coastal bus was great for visiting Lynmouth and the most scenic bus ride I think I've ever been on! Lovely cottage to relax in the evenings too. Plenty of space a.... Very much enjoyed having a glass of wine on the balcony after a busy day too!

The location is excellent. The village is a very short walk so ideal for local pubs, shops and restaurants. The Lorna Doone Hotel is excellent : the food is exceptionally good. There are good walks from the doorstep...Bossington village is an easy walk with a super tea room for refreshments. The B.... The location is excellent. The Bottom Ship in nearby Porlock Weir does good pub grub and is worth a visit as the location is quirky and historic.

Great location next to Porlock village. Very comfortable accommodation. Nice large garden. Super well appointed kitchen and master bedroom. Nice walks from the barn down to the marshes or up the hill ( it's pretty steep!). Would definitely stay again.
