The cottage is well appointed with a very efficient and easy to use central heating system. Walked upto Dunkery Beacon and explored Dunster Castle. The village shop sells delicious quiches. Minehead is only 10 minutes away if you need more provisions.

Any guests need to be aware of lots of steep steps in the cottage. Also be aware of very narrow lanes to the cottage as we had bike on back of car. Very remote no pub and little local shop only opens in the morning. Otherwise idyllic with big dining kitchen and very modern bathrooms. When we contacted the hosts they were very quick to respond.

As you would expect in an older property there are steps and low ceilings which may not suit every situation, but at 6' 5" I still managed to shower and manoeuvre, and we also noted that a downstairs bedroom had been added. A beautiful spot!
