      We stayed at Bramble cottage and were welcomed by freshly baked cake made by the owner. A little touch but very much appreciated. The cottage is a upside down layout with kitchen and lounge upstairs and the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. The main bedroom has a shower room and the other twin bedroom uses the main bathroom with bath and no shower. The outside has a gas bbq and sitting area which was nice for having meals and drinks when the weather allows. Cottage was well equipped and generally clean throughout which made our stay a delight. Location wise its not for the faint hearted if you planning on walking into Lynton but if you want to walk into Exmoor it is ideally located. I would definitely stay there again if we were to base ourselves in that locale again.

      Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Tree Tops over Christmas. The cottage is lovely - homely and very cosy. We enjoyed nothing better than a relaxing evening in front of the fire! Clean and well equipped, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location, as easy access to both Lynton and Lynmouth, and very handy having the local pub just across the road! The owners kindly decorated the house for us, so we could enjoy a festive home-from-home, and the generous welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend a stay in Tree Tops and hope to return in the not too distant future!

      Almost perfect location; only almost because there was no good pub within walking distance (although some people might be happy to walk in to Lynton). However, apart from that the location was quiet and within walking distance of great walks on Exmoor. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms good with lots of hot water. A spacious sitting room with large, comfortable settees and a well equipped kitchen. Pleasant, fenced garden ideal for the dogs. The owner is helpful and friendly. In all, I would heartily recommend Bramble cottage.

The Den is in a central location in Lynton so close to small supermarket, various eating places, churches - RC and Anglican and very near to the cliff railway down to Lynmouth. The Den has been very well thought out and is beautiful in its simplicity. It was a wrench to have to leave it. Gary the housekeeper is great if you have any queries and is ready to 'sort out' any little glitches - not that I found any! Already thinking about my 4th visit before the end of the year I hope.
