An amazing little cottage providing quirky, railway themed accommodation in lovely Bakewell.

The Old Weighbridge is super quirky and compact holiday accommodation perfect for a couple who love something a little different. Attractively decorated with a railway theme, this little cottage has everything you need. With secure storage for bikes and off-road parking, this comfortable and snug cottage makes a great base to explore the surrounding areas. 

Being in the market town of Bakewell, you’re in a great location. Have a wander into Bakewell and browse inside the array of independent shops, or stroll along the River Wye whilst having a nibble on the famous Bakewell Pudding. Plan a trip to one of the local attractions such as Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House or have a tour of Thornbridge Brewery. Hop on your bike and ride along the Monsal Trail or drive up on to Curbar Edge, where you’ll be in awe of the views over the hills and valleys. 

In the evenings, head into town and cherry pick one of the fabulous restaurants or pubs to dine in.

    Very small with limited cooking facilities. But really cosy in the winter. And the walk to and from the thornbridge tap house was straightforward!!
