Guests say

Guests have consistently praised Sea Edge for its prime location with stunning sea views and proximity to local amenities in Sheringham. The unique 'upside down' house design is appreciated for enhancing the seaside experience. While compact, the cottage is well-equipped, providing a comfortable base for exploring North Norfolk. Repeat bookings indicate a high level of satisfaction among visitors.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score for this category.

The location is highly praised for its uninterrupted sea views and convenience to the beach, shops, pubs, and cafes. Its prime position on the promenade makes it a top choice for visitors.

The cottage is described as cosy and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay. However, the mention of a 'compact' space and an 'odd' small sink suggests some minor comfort compromises.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being equipped for guests' needs. However, a slight damp issue in the downstairs bathroom indicates a need for maintenance attention.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so this score cannot be provided.

“Relaxing, stress free coastal break. If you need to get away from the rat race, this is the perfect place. Went on my own, no car, to distress. This was the perfect place. Great location, stunning sea view and close to amenities and costal walks. It was blissful and relaxing. I wish I could have stayed longer”

“Great view out to sea, every morning and evening was spent with the french doors open . Great sea for swimming especially at high tide, could walk down to beach in swimsuit. Well equipped flat everything we needed. Would definitely rent again ❤️

”

“We stayed here for 3 nights and although we paid a bit more than we wanted to, it was worth it. The house itself is 'upside down' which really works; you can open the patio doors upstairs to sit and view the sea and everything else that is going on along the seafront - an added bonus is that you can watch the sunrise and the sunset. Everything you need it close by; beach, shops, pubs, cafes etc. There isn't a parking space allocated but we found a space opposite the house on the roadside - so no parking fee. Don't know if we were just lucky. For location, this is one of the best properties I have stayed in and Sheringham is a lovely little seaside town.”
