Filey House in Sheringham is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and prime location close to the beach and town centre. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the property's attractive decoration. While parking can be challenging, the convenience of the location and the property's amenities contribute to a delightful stay.
Guests consistently note the property as 'spotlessly clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout.
The property's location is frequently described as great, with easy access to the High Street, railway station, bus stops, and sea-front, contributing to its high rating.
The property is commended for its comfortable seating and spacious bedrooms, although one review mentioned harsh lounge lighting, slightly impacting the comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and multiple bathrooms. However, minor issues like a broken fridge shelf and parking challenges slightly lower the score.
While guests would have appreciated small welcoming gestures like milk or coffee pods, these are not consistently mentioned across reviews, and as such, cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

We had a lovely time staying at the Filey House. 6 of us in 3 spacious double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (2 with shower cubicles and 1 with an over-bath shower), so we all had privacy.Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and kitchen/breakfast room. The kitchen was well-equipped. The house is attractively decorated and spotlessly clean. The location is great - a short walk to the High Street, railway station and bus stops, not to mention the sea-front. We didn't need to use our cars for the entire week.

The house was just the right size for us, there were 6 adults and 2 young children. It was very handy for the town and the sea front.A couple of things disappointed us - we would really have appreciated a bottle of milk in the fridge when we arrived. We'd had a long journey and couldn't even make a cup of tea without having to go shopping. Also, if you're going to provide a Tassimo coffee maker, it would be kind to provide a few Tassimo coffee pods. The bottle shelf in the fridge door was broken. Parking was a problem when cars were parked in front of the house. Central heating clock needed to be changed when the clocks went back but we weren't able to make any changes. Apart from all that, the house was adequate.

Brilliant week at Filey House. Great location being minutes from the beach. House was spotless! Great communication by the owner who let us know that the house was ready early. Will be visiting again next year!
