"Very good and comfy bungalow, and excellent value for money. Fab kitchen/living room space with lots of comfy seats and a reasonably well equipped kitchen (some bigger pans would be good given the size of the property- but great to have so many glasses, mugs, etc). Great provision for babies/toddlers with socket covers, plastic glasses, etc. Hosts were really accommodating to our requests for extra things for the kitchen. The whole place is clearly new and nicely finished. We were there with two toddlers and noise was a bit a problem - with the kitchen/living room noise carrying very clearly to the bedrooms and noise between bedrooms carrying too (and so the babies kept waking each other). Also worth noting it’s right on a very busy road with no pavement - so any trip out requires a car. But both of these were very manageable and the garden is v secure for young kids to play in."

"Really enjoyed our break at S78663 at the beginning of February 18. The house is lovely, I could have gladly moved in and lived there, it's in a pretty village with an award winning pub. There is everything you need for a holiday at the house, it has a good size garden which would be ideal in the summer to sit out and enjoy. The cottage is one of the best we have stayed in, my husband was impressed with the six TVs, I slept so well in the very comfy double bed. The only downside is there is no local shop, so whilst the pub is walkable, a car is needed to pop the the next village for milk etc. When we walked around the village I did notice there is ground put aside for a community shop/cafe which would be a really bonus for the village. We would definitely visit again, just wished we could afford the house if it ever came up for sale."

"This house is very spacious and very well maintained. We were very comfortable in it, the beds, the showers, and the public room furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner was extremely helpful and looked after our needs when they arose. The owner had gone to the trouble of producing a booklet that contained all the local attractions - properties to visit, canal and other walks, pubs, museums, etc. We only had time to do a couple of these so will have to return to do some of the others, like Ragley Hall. The only downside was not of the owner's making - the postcode led my satnav astray and we had to end up asking the way. If you can use the address of the property rather than its postcode, you will be able to find the property."

"It's a very nice place to spend a week with the family or friends: very quiet but at the same time in the centre of the village, very close to both pubs & the shop. The house is spacious & lovely but there are a few very minor tweaks which could make it even better. We didn't think the kitchen was particularly well-equipped for a house of this quality - a colander or similar would have been useful for instance - and it would make more sense for most people nowadays to move at least some of the cutlery from the dining room to the kitchen. We'd also have liked the option of cooler duvets but this is a problem almost everywhere you stay. We'd certainly go back to Tythe Barn if we stay in the area again."

"For us this was the best cottage we have rented in our 23 years of self catering. We really loved it. Alot of places promise welcome packs but never deliver. The home made cake (delicious - my husband had devoured it within the first 2 days), milk and fresh duck/hen eggs - just such a lovely touch. The cottage is beside the owners home (who are very lovely and approachable) but it is still very private with great views over the countryside. Clean, lovely decor and finishes with attention to detail, log fire for the cooler days and loved the sonos system. Great location with easy access to all neighbouring counties and London. Highly recommended. We are fans of this cottage!"
