Really enjoyed our stay at Old Stable Cottage. Everything we needed for a relaxing holiday exploring the Cotswolds. Kingham is a very pretty village and we enjoyed the peaceful courtyard garden- when the sun was out ! Enjoyed a meal at the Plough and morning walk to Dalesford organic and a coffee in the courtyard. Good evening meal Kings Head tasty and decent price. Visited Broadway- lovely and the tower - if you pay the shop can just pay to park and walk around the site £11 for 2. Cotswold Lavender while in bloom is lovely if a bit steep at £7 per adults, bought a little plant to take home. Stow on the wold very nice to wander round as is Burford with its boutique shops.Drive from there to Bibury - 10 - mile - for stunning stream side cottages - a real hot spot of photo opps !!! Chipping Campden lovely, had nice focaccia sandwich in Camden Coffee shop ran by an Italian lady. Thank you for a comfortable holiday property and Dog friendly

Superb cottage located in the grounds of the owners’ property. The owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cottage is very well appointed, with quality furnishings. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for self catering, albeit there is an abundance of good quality dining options within the village of Kingham and the surrounding area should eating out be preferred. There are enjoyable walks available directly from this beautiful village which is also ideally located for exploring the Cotswold area by car, including Broadway, Bourton on the Water and The Slaughters which are only a short drive away. Would happily return to this property again.

Hidden Cottage in Great Location.Really enjoyed our week in Kingham. We live in a very peaceful location so we are always keen to find somewhere equally quiet and Groom’s Cottage did not disappoint. Kingham is very well situated for so many interesting places. We enjoyed days out at Hidcote and Kiftsgate gardens, Blenheim Palace and even a day by rail to Oxford as there is a station just outside Kingham. The cottage is well equipped and tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious and well planned - I could have moved in! The highlight of our stay was when two swallows flew into the reception room, flew around for a minute and thankfully flew back outside.
