There are also the dog friendly country houses and even the annual dog show down in 'Sunny Hunny' Hunstanton, if you really want to get in the spirit!

From its 90 miles of coastline to the stunning Broads and dozens of charming towns, Norfolk makes a great holiday spot. To make it even better, there are also hundreds of lovely dog friendly cottages available for your stay.

What our customers say about their holidays

    • R, D, J & Charlie the Cocker Spaniel - Verified booking

We enjoyed a week in your delightful cottage, thank you. On arrival we found a really home from home. - the provisions, wine + wild flowers were much appreciated too. We spent our time re-visiting old family memories (husbands family came: from Hunstanton & Heacham) as well as exploring the local area. • Sunday Lunch at The Nelson Inn, Burnham - highly recommended! • Holt was perfect for our retail therapy - with many independent shops & cafes/eateries. • Burnham Market had a more relaxed (but sill definitely up-market) feel - there was one store that was like an Aladdin’s cave - room after room of toys/gifts/hats + women’s wear! • The shrine at Walsingham is well worth a visit - so calm a tranquil. The town centre in Fakenham is somewhat jaded (like many towns - retail outlets closed in favour of out-of-town shops) - but there are three supermarkets, an excellent department store (Aldiss) - with a large dog welcoming cafe, a great Garden Centre + Langham Glass factory is worth a visit. We wondered whether the cottage might be a little too remote but, in actual fact, it was well placed for easy driving access to the local area + coast. Lovely relaxed stay in your cottage - we will certainly recommend Peony Cottage to others.

Little Oldbury is a wonderful place to stay. It is extremely comfortable, beautifully and stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! The very generous welcome basket was full of delicious local delicacies. The owners are really welcoming and very kind. It is in such a peaceful location and we slept really well on a very comfortable bed. It is ideally situated to explore the local area and the coast. We had a lovely day in Norwich including an interesting tour of the cathedral by a knowledgeable and charming guide, a great day on the Broads with a boat trip on Horsey Mere where we saw such a lot - a swallowtail butterfly and lots of birds. We went to Blickling and walked miles through the estate, toured the house and saw a wonderful play put on by local volunteers to celebrate D Day. We packed a lot into a few days. We would thoroughly recommend this property and will be recommending to our own family and friends. Thank you We had a great time.

Very cosy cottage - appreciated the log burner after lovely coastal walks. Ideally situated to visit lots of wildlife / bird reserves. Titchwell Marsh and Norfolk Wildlife Trust at Cley particularly recommended. Abiding memories of brent geese flying over us in huge numbers - particularly at dusk. Holt has lots of interesting shops and cafes. If you want good seafood to eat at home I recommend North Norfolk Fish Company in Holt. The best freshly filleted sea bass we have ever tasted. Huge prawns and fresh mussels. Large selection of fresh fish. Close access to coastal path a real bonus with our dog direct from the cottage. Comfy bed - but would have preferred a King-size.

Very comfortable cottage with two very good sized bedrooms, not big but not too small. Other small bedroom has a single bed and is quite sufficient. Very good downstairs bathroom with bath and shower over bath. Kitchen well equipped, great sized fridge freezer with proper sized freezer section. Quality items to use throughout. Our little dogs loved the cottage and enjoyed their stay. Parking is fine as long as you drive straight in as long as your car is medium sized. Great gate to enter through to front door and garden making the cottage very secure for pets. Would definitely return if in the area again.
