The medieval and cultural city of Norwich is the capital of East Anglia. Norwich boasts some of the finest buildings in Britain, with two cathedrals, a Norman castle and several large houses. Elm Hill is one of the oldest streets in Norwich, with beautiful cobblestones and Tudor houses, some now home to independent shops. Norwich also offers art galleries, museums, theatres and cinemas, as well as beautiful parks and gardens. Visit its stylish pubs, cafés and restaurants and enjoy its excellent shopping facilities. Tour the city by open-top bus, along cycle pathways, or walk one of its many trails and the river walk. For those wishing to relax, spend a leisurely day on board a boat enjoying the nearby, beautiful Norfolk Broads. The coastline is also within easy travelling distance, offering a fun day out.

The basic items were provided and the house was clean. The bed sheets are very noisy and both upstairs bathroom shelves are wonky.

We booked our stay less than 2 weeks before coming and as soon as we received the confirmation and found that the property was nearly 3 miles outside of Norwich, which was not what we wanted, Sykes were very unhelpful and not at all understanding with our request to cancel and receive a full refund. We want it highlighted that the map location for this listing is totally misleading and was the major point we were trying to get across. We fully understand that locations cannot be totally accurate for security reasons and also acknowledge that the description states the property is on the "outskirts" however in all our years of booking holidays we have never been in the situation where the map location which we have always used as a guide has been 3 miles out! We recommend that the description is at least updated to say the location is 3 miles outside of Norwich and the map pinpoint is corrected.
