What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Kent To Rent.

"This is a rural hideaway cottage, which reflects the eco-friendly aspirations of the owner, and has French windows opening onto a large area of private woodland, awash with bluebells (May) and birdlife. We were given a warm and friendly welcome and told that, if we needed anything, we just needed to knock at the door. There are no shops or pubs in the immediate vicinity, but there is a farm shop 10 minutes' drive away and an excellent pub in the picturesque (and much filmed) village of Chilham also about 10 minutes' drive away - we did walk to Chilham through lovely country lanes, but you need to set aside a couple of hours for that. It was a great base from which to explore Kent (there were plenty of relevant maps, books and brochures in the cottage) - our favourite places being Canterbury and its lovely cathedral, Whitstable and Faversham, plus the National Trust properties at Chartwell, Sissinghurst Castle and the White Cliffs of Dover. If you enjoy country lanes, landscape and nature, then this makes for a very convenient and homely base with adequate kitchen and bathroom facilities - and a very comfortable bed!"

"The cottage is in a perfect position, close to the beach and the high street, yet far enough back to be quiet. The cottage is beautifully decorated, yet I fear there is a degree of style over substance. The red sofa in the dining room is very uncomfortable and hence we never sat on it after the first go. The chairs in the living room are equally not the most comfortable. The lack of a dishwasher is a real shame, especially if you come with children (which the cottage is otherwise well set up for). I know space is tight but as someone who stays in many cottages this is a real down side. The drainage needs sorting. The fact that the green waste floods the path and then street is embarrassing and unpleasant to walk in."

"We were impressed with the modern and spacious living areas of the house which were very comfortable. The kitchen and utility room are very well equipped with efficient, easy to use white goods, although with the weather being so good a clothes airer would be very useful. The location is just right, very close to the beach yet far enough away from the main attractions to be peaceful. Three generations of our family enjoyed our week here, especially our young grandsons who were in and out of the sea the whole time. Also within easy reach of Broadstairs, Whitstable, Margate,Ramsgate and Canterbury. Will be recommending to family and friends."

"Fantastic location.Lots of dog-friendly people!Helpful owner when electricity went after using a faulty toaster.Electricity back on after electrician came within an hour.Cosy with fire.Really liked all the artwork.Very tastefully decorated. Wifi worked fine(so kids very happy). Maybe a few extra tea towels would have been handy as no dish washer. My daughter suffered numerous insect bites in front bedroom -although no-one else did in other rooms. No trouble with parking car as we came a week before Easter, and weather was awful!"

"We had a fantastic time in the house. The owners were friendly and available if needed. The location is great-in the heart of the countryside so brilliant for dog walking. Although it is set on a working riding school there was no disruption from the school. The hot tub was perfect for family bonding times as was the cinema screen to watch movies. Lots pf places to sit out and read and the garden was totally secure for dogs ( and we have one that can usually escape anywhere!) Thanks for a lovely stay!"
