Part of me almost doesnât want to write this review so I can keep this absolutely gem a secret, but that wouldnât be fair.
When we arrived, Glen met us at the property to give us a guided tour and to show us how to use the hot tub. She was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The first thing you notice with the property is the size. Itâs was huge and easily accommodated the 6 of us. It also has 2 double bedrooms which is a rare find! The vaulted ceilings also made it feel more spacious and light. Every room had a tv, fresh bedding and towels and even individual bars of soap which was a lovely touch. There had separate towels for the hot tub and for bathing. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pretty much every utensil you could need. There was even basic condiments for cooking as well as products for cleaning / washing up. The hot tub was very relaxing and got daily use. Thereâs a privacy screen next to it so youâre not overlooked and you can just relax and enjoy the views. So, the views. The location is truly stunning. Set in its own private field, there is plenty of grassy area to enjoy and even 2 lakes which are well stocked with fish, if thatâs your thing. Thereâs plenty of wildlife to enjoy, from wild deer to Kingfishers so make sure you take some binoculars. The nearest town was Bampton which had a couple of Spar shops, decent butchers and pharmacy and was only a 5 min drive away. All the locals roads were very quiet, but are well connected if you wanted to travel further afield. Can definitely recommend the Grand Wester Canal for a lovely walk. All in all we had an amazing time and will definitely be back soon.

This was my wife & I's second stay at Limefitt and third consecutive year in the Lakes using Park Dean Resorts .
This Lodge was in immaculate condition , excellent location , tucked away at the top of a private cul de sac with glorious views from the decking . The Lodge was very airy and modern with every eventuality catered for . ( The sound quality of the docking station for my I-pod was brilliant ) . Well equipped kitchen ( although we were only there for 3 nights so ate out during the daytime ) and well suited to a medium sized family . Our little Westie , Poppy , settled in straight away and loved the fact that she could stroll around the decking as she pleased . Little things like courtesy lighting in the bathrooms so as not to disturb people and generous stock of DVDs and games if you wanted them . The check in at reception was effortless , site in immaculate condition again . The leather sofa was not the most comfortable ( sliding about like a bar of soap ) but that's just our personal preference , all told a great "find" for us - we'd love to come back again . What did you enjoy most about your stay? The quality of the lodge and it's immaculate condition , great location on the site . What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests? Visited the Lakes Aqaurium for the first time - very pleasant - better again if you have time & combine it with a steamer trip .

Realising after many months in lockdown we didn't need an extravagant holiday, so we chose to glamp it up and stayed in this most charming little Shepherds hut, in the middle of the countryside on the edge of a farm.
Warmly greeted by Mandy and her daughter, we were explained the ins and outs, and left to our own devices! No TV, WiFi or Internet connection, it was pure bliss and tranquility. We ventured out a couple of times, but quite frankly just enjoyed sitting out on the deck with a cuppa, chatting and playing games. The fire heated hot tub was the best ever! Mandy even text us before our arrival to see if we wanted it pre-heated, very thoughtful and I jumped at the offer. The tub was super toasty, and stayed warm enough to jump in first thing in the morning-and I took full advantage of this. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs, the fridge was much bigger than expected and we were able to fill it with more supplies. There was also a cheeky bottle of prosecco left for us and a bag of ice! An unexpected treat and very well received-nice touch that! The bed was a little hard, so 3 nights seemed a good amount of time to stay before any aches begin. Shower had a good pressure and heated quickly. I was worried with the recent cooler mornings/night I would get cold, but actually it stayed a very comfortable temperature throughout the day/night. And lastly, had regular visits from the resident and dog, super friendly and affectionate and just added to our wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely 3 night stay with my partner in early December.
Needless to say, the hot tub was the highlight and an amazing treat even in winter - refreshingly crisp, cold air coupled with steaming, toasty water! We thought we would need heated blankets and hot water bottles to keep us warm in the hut, but actually the portable heater provided was already enough to keep us warm and cozy. Mandy was very welcoming and friendly, and just a text message away from bringing us more logs for the hot tub. There were also friendly cats and a dog that liked to come say hello. The hut also has plates/bowls/glasses/mugs/utensils all provided, and also basic pots and pans. There's also a good-sized fridge that has plenty of space to store several meals (though we mostly went out to restaurants, plus a takeaway from Infinitii on our last night who were able to deliver straight to the hut). We really enjoyed our stay and are thinking of coming back again one summer to experience the hut during warmer weather! PS. A very cozy cabin, which is bright and airy. The view across the field, including the sheep and the quiet make for a very relaxing spot to do nothing or just read a book. Although the location is well removed from other homes and the village along a number of narrow lanes, many interesting places and delightful pub restaurants are within easy reach. We had good meals at the "Villa Verdi" in Wellington, La Campanga" at the former "Eagle Inn" on the A303 as you approach Buckland St Mary from the east. Also there is a great daily carvery at the 'Hare & Hounds" just out of Honiton on the road to Budleigh Salterton. We enjoyed visits to the Wellington Monument, Bicton Park Botanical Gardens and also Stourhead on our journey home. We also undertook the challenge of a round of golf at Taunton & Pickeridge GC where we received a warm welcome. The cabin was the ideal base for our short break and the weather was better than we had expected. We will surely have to come again as it is also close to family and friends for a catch up.
