What our customers say about their holidays

    • Adele - Verified booking

We stayed at Dreamwood over the Christmas period and we had the most magical and amazing time.

The lodge was extremely accessible and easy to find, and from the moment that we drove onto the drive, it felt like home from home. The lodge was spotlessly clean, and included everything that anyone could possibly need whilst taking a break away. The subtle touches were truly wonderful, from the eco-friendly toiletries, special treats and and accessories for our fur baby, to the spare towels, pillows and bedding. We even enjoyed a lovely glass of bubbly in the hot tub on Christmas morning, which was a real treat! The owner really did think of everything, and provided wonderful customer service. Jen even approved for us to put up our own Christmas decorations to make it feel more like home, which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to book again in the future. Many thanks Jen, you and your wonderful lodge were amazing :)

Our family of 4 stayed for a week using both the Lodge and the Annex.

The accommodation is very clean and well maintained providing comfortable 3 bedrooms and 3 shower rooms spacious open plan dining and lounge area. The bedrooms were not completely blackout, but the road is not street lit so rooms very dark at night. Jen provided extra fans when requested on the hot arrival day. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with equipment, but some of the cupboards are high with hinged doors. Plenty of worktop space. The Wi-fi worked very well, with Smart TVs. The gravel drive way has a narrow access for large cars, with a secure gate. We loved that the lodge is on a quiet hill , surrounded by tall trees. Good travel links to London via Hayes Station. Thanks Jen for your quick replies to property queries.

We had a lovely weekend at Dream Lodge.

We had 2 Dogs which we cleared with the owner before booking. Jenny the host was amazing, gave us lots of ideas for local dog walks and was on hand via Whats app for any questions. The end fence is loose so be careful with your dogs in case they push through, hopefully that will be fixed by Jenny. Hot tub was great, I think the best one we have had in any of the lodges I have stayed in. Nice a comfy and pretty quiet too. Only improvements would be a basic air con unit to keep it cooler in the summer months. It gets pretty hot and sticky. Be careful when driving into the lodge, my car mud flap got caught on the bump as its quite a step ramp up so stay to the left to avoid that. We will def be back soon ;-)

A wonderful home from home to spend our two week Christmas holiday.

Jenny is a fantastic host, even messaging before our stay to ask if it was ok to decorate the Lodge for Christmas, we thought this was such a lovely touch. It was beautifully decorated which we really appreciated. Dreamwood Lodge is lovely and peaceful and has everything you need for a short break, the Annexe is a great addition. There are some lovely walks in the area, as others have mentioned it is very easy to go into London for the day, it’s a 25 minute train journey from Orpington station. We would thoroughly recommend Dreamwood Lodge and will be back, thank you Jenny for making our stay special.

The property is stylish and clean and very comfortable.

There's plenty of space and the separate annex allows for privacy if travelling with friends or colleagues, as we did. We parked three cars on the drive and with some juggling could get a fourth if necessary. We didn't actually use the hot-tub but the views across the valley are lovely and when the weather was nice we sat out and enjoyed the setting sun. Communication with Jen, the owner, was excellent from the moment we booked and we were able to ask any questions with quick responses. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat.
