What our customers are saying about our Large Cottages In Worcestershire To Rent.

"Riverside cottage is in the perfect location in Evesham for visiting so many wonderful places. We spent our week in beautiful countryside, historic stately homes and houses and picturesque gardens. The cities nearby all had wonderful shops and churches and for us this was essential for the enjoyment of our stay. The cottage had everything we needed although the twin room that I slept in had narrow single beds with single duvets and perhaps because I am tall and used to a double bed I found myself regularly exposed during the night with movement which meant sleep for me was sporadic. My friend on the other hand was in the double room and was fine. We had asked for the other twin beds to me made up as a double and joined, and were disappointed to find these too, although put together were furnished with two single duvets as well. The shower in the main bathroom was left set on a very high temperature and although I stood well back to test it before use I found it difficult to turn the controls and could not find instructions for it, so it took several days and goes before I got a safe temperature. Although everything else was perfectly adequate with plenty of cutlery, china and towels etc there was just something missing that we have had in other cottages to give us the wow factor which left us feeling our stay had been a little impersonal. Wouldn't stop us coming again as the location was so good with loads more to visit. One of us left an item of clothing behind and the owner contacted us straight away to let us know and it was kindly sent back to us, so thank you for that."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Ferryman's Cottage over New Year. The rooms were comfortable and provided a good mix of double beds and singles for our mixed family group. The bathrooms were all clean, modern and plentiful - there were five full bathrooms with showers and one additional toilet. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with plenty of plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc so it was easy to cater for the group. The living room was not really big enough to accommodate fourteen of us comfortably but the dining room sat us easily so we were able to use this area too. The WiFi was not great but adequate. The garden was well fenced so suitable for our dog and there was easy walking along the river directly from the cottage. The drive to the cottage was interesting with some significant puddles on the last bit of the lane/driveway but otherwise the location is conveniently close to the M5/M50 but has the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. Food at the nearby Railway Inn was excellent. All in all I'd recommend the cottage as somewhere that is well equipped, warm and comfortable and suited our needs as a convenient venue for a family get together."

"We enjoyed a large family get together here in January, and would highly recommend the Ferryman's cottage for that purpose. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped for large gatherings (with enough kitchen equipment for a large family roast). The photos don't really do the property justice, the bathrooms are all very modern and luxurious. Most importantly for a winter gathering, the house is extremely warm and comfortable (we have rented a number of properties in January and that is not always the case in some of the older properties). The only constructive comment I would give is that the road to the property is full of pretty deep pot-holes which had got very waterlogged when we were there. We were able to access the property ok, but I would not have wanted to drive a small or old car down that road in winter. The owner was very helpful before our stay, and it was all very smooth and easy. Thanks a lot!I would strongly recommend this property for large gatherings, and we would certainly return!"

"From the Welcome Pack of essentials, a very nice touch, to the spotless, light and airy accommodation with full kitchen, exceptionally comfortable bedrooms, practical bathrooms, patio furniture for the warmer evenings or the large comfortable lounge where you can sit and chill after long days sight-seeing, all was ideal. The well fenced and secure garden is perfect for young children to play safely. Pebworth Cottage is centrally located, facilitating our visits to Stratford upon Avon, Evesham, Cheltenham, Warwick Castle, Cotswold wildlife park near Burford, as well as managing a day in Oxford. Within easy reach are a variety of recommended eating places, i.e. The Bell Inn at Welford-on-Avon, Masons Arms at Long Marston, The Thatched Tavern at Honeybourne, Kings Arms at Mickleton, The Frog at Bidford-on-Avon, to name but a few. Local farm shop at Lower Clopton is well worth a visit for their excellent produce. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay, we will hopefully be back again sometime in the future."

"I have just returned from what I can only describe as the most perfect weekend away with the girls. We are a group of 6 over 50s (even though we have a much younger mental age) and my daughter who is 28. It was just exactly what we wanted for a special weekend away. A spacious and plush cottage with every amenity you could ask for. The location is completely picturesque and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed for the weekend - including champagne glasses which was our major requirement of the weekend. We cooked our own meals using the facilities of the well stocked kitchen. The beds were completely comfortable and we were supplied with luxury towels. The welcome hamper was greatly appreciated as well. The only advise I would give is to pre-book any taxis if you need them!"
