This attractive, detached cottage is tucked away in the little village of Mamble, bordered by bountiful countryside and within easy reach of Bewdley and Kidderminster, in beautiful Worcestershire.The cottage has been divided into two with the owners living on site. This cosy holiday let is perfect for a couple looking to fully relax and get away-from-it-all. The fabulous interior commences with a cosy lounge comprising stone floors, plush seating and a charming woodburner within the inglenook backed by a brick wall. Sit with a good read or simply enjoy each other's company amidst the peace and quiet of this rural location. There is a quaint dining area for two, set beneath the window, so you can tuck into a nice meal under the natural light from outside. Next is the compact kitchen with adequate appliances to get you through the holiday; a clean off-white finish creates a modernised feel. Head upstairs to find the double bedroom, beautifully presented with your comfort in mind, a fabulous chaise longue rests under the eaves adding a sense of style to the room. The en-suite is a wonderful addition, perfectly placed for convenience, housing a claw-foot bath with a hand-held shower. The cottage has extensive gardens with even use of a sun room, making a great place for artists to unwind and enjoy painting and drawing at leisure. Mamble is a charming village in the Malvern Hills District which is home to the pub Sun and Slipper which is renowned for it's great food. The cottage has wonderful views into the Shropshire Hills AONB and Malvern Hills AONB as well as into the Welsh borders. With excellent walking and cycling nearby and access to shops, bars and restaurants at the towns of Bewdley and Kidderminster, this is the perfect place to bring a loved one. Other attractions in the local and distant areas include The Severn Valley Steam Railway, West Midlands Safari Park, as well as numerous National Trust properties. This is a fabulous getaway in an appealing region of England.
Located between the market towns of Bewdley and Tenbury Wells, this quaint village boasts some notable buildings including the 13th century sandstone church of St John the Baptist and the 17th century Sun & Slipper Inn. Tenbury Wells lies on the south bank of the River Teme, featuring the Pump Rooms, often described as Chinese-Gothic, whilst Bewdley provides a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants along the riverside. The Severn Valley Steam Railway, West Midlands Safari Park, and numerous National Trust properties are among many things to do in the surrounding area.
