We were 3 elderly couples and found the house very comfortable and warm, despite the the very cold weather.
Three super easy access bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable, although the sheet and mattress cover on the king size bed wouldnât stay on - I think they were not deep enough for the very deep mattress. Also, the small bedroom provided quite a challenge for an elderly person, getting in and out of bed with the sloping ceiling coming right down over the far side of the bed. Downstairs worked very well for us. We all ate in the kitchen fitting quite snugly round the table, which meant, on an evening we could use the table in the lounge for things like a jigsaw puzzle and still all be together in one room, while others were watching tv etc. - nice and sociable. We did have a bit of a problem with parking on 2 occasions, as when we returned from a trip out with our 2 cars, we found there was another car parked right in the middle of the parking space, which meant we couldnât even fit 1 car in the space. Whoever it was, didnât stay too long , then we had to move our cars back into our space. Talking to the lovely Irish lady next door, we understood that the parking arrangements in Bridge End are just on a gentlemanâs agreement basis, but luckily, we werenât too inconvenienced. The garden is lovely and in warmer weather we would have spent some time out there in the sunshine. The location of the property is lovely, so peaceful and friendly and the walk into town was easy, if a bit noisy with traffic! The town itself was very interesting with lots of interesting history. The restaurants were plentiful and there were some interesting shops. The local area had lots of places to visit for all tastes. I would certainly recommend number 67 to my friends and family. Please feel free to choose whether you publish any of my comments. The positives far outweigh the others, so please be as selective as you wish.

We had a lovely stay.
Instructions for keys and access were clear. Garden nicely maintained with gorgeous views out across fields. Comfy sofa and bed - always important. Plenty of kitchen counters and storage. It was very handy having use of the washing machine. There's a bath and toilet upstairs (we didn't use) and a toilet, basin and shower in a wet room downstairs next to the bedroom so we used that all the time. The bedroom is small, not much bigger than the double bed, but by the second night we were used to sliding in and had no problems. Good pub meals locally. We would definitely come back for another stay. There was a thick folder of helpful info with everything local listed, from vets to activities, and contact details for our hosts in case we had a problem (we didn't). Also, since I have bad knees, I always mention in my reviews how the accommodation was for me - in case it is of interest to anyone else. There is one step into the front door and one step out to the garden. The flooring is a mix of carpet and tile. The toilet is one of the low ones, which isn't great for my knees, but was manageable. The toilet was also facing a nearby wall, which had a towel rail on it. I had to be careful not to use the towel rail as a grab rail! Sofa was also lowish, but again manageable and very comfortable. All in all, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Lovely and well presented cottage with a well equipped kitchen.
The cottage was very clean and perfect for our short (2 night stay). It was a good location with easy access to the M40 and easily accessible to Warwick and Leamington Spa as well as the popular Cotswold tourist areas and walks around Broadway, Stratford on Avon, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold etc. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in for a long time. The country park access is within walking distance of about 200 metres of the cottage albeit a bit of a steep climb into the park or a £3 parking charge but well worth the exercise each morning. The only criticism would be the lack of a coat rack, but fortunately for us we had good weather so leaving coats on the back of the chairs was not too much of a problem and the fact that the garden is not secure for the dog so he had to be supervised throughout the stay on the lead in the garden for fear of running onto the road. Was lacking an information pack on rubbish and recycling for the cottage and followed what the neighbouring cottage had done. Limited leaflet information and a information on walks in the local area with maps would be helpful to future guests as these we had to find on-line but often without the benefit of maps unless we signed up to various websites.

Owl Cottage was a delight.
Just as shown in the pictures with the open fields around and the lovely little patio and garden which was perfect for our dog to relax in, too. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and was very clean and tidy and the owners were easy to contact and very helpful if needed. We really enjoyed sitting by the log stove and cooking our meals in the compact well-equipped kitchen. The whole cottage was cosy and warm and the upstairs area was perfect for chilling and watching dvds (a nice little selection were available.) WiFi was great and the shower was good, too. We had not used a hot tub before, but are definitely converts! It was so nice to sit in and admire the views even though our weather was a bit mixed. Napton village stores was well stocked and had tasty veggie pasties and hot treats. It was a pleasant walk away (just a short bit of the main road to negotiate and then easy paths) and there were nice paths to discover around the village and up to the windmill. Also some lovely walks along the canal. Would definitely love to stay her again. Thank you so much.

We have spent a super week at Granary Cottage which we really enjoyed.
The property was bright, airy, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything we needed (for us and our dog). The owner Mary was extremely welcoming and helpful. We originally booked because of its location next to Burton Dassett Hills (stunning views and lovely walks!) and we were attending an event at the nearby British Motor Museum on the Sunday but also found Granary Cottage very convenient to explore Stratford upon Avon and other delightful spots the Cotswold has to offer - Morton on Marsh (loved Batsford Arboretum), Bourton on the Water, Chipping Norton, Broadway etc. There's a good range of (dog friendly) places to eat locally with excellent food and locals ready to have a chat! Can personally particularly recommend The Malt Shovel Inn in Gaydon, The Yew Tree at Avon Dassett and The Wharf Inn in Fenny Compton (by the canal and charming!) We can highly recommend Granary Cottage and hope to be back soon.
