What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Towednack To Rent.

"Initially we thought we'd made a huge mistake with the location because there was just nowhere to park and nowhere available to eat on the evening we arrived. However, we decided to park on the road leading into Mousehole which meant a 15ish minute walk. But that turned out fine. The parking was free and the view made the walk really enjoyable. We went into Penzance to eat, plenty of choice. We visited Lands End and enjoyed the beach and walks around Mousehole. The beach at nearby Porthcurno is beautiful. The cottage is dated but that didn't bother us, in fact we loved it. All we would change is the beds. 2 singles in one of the rooms would be great as we have teenagers, a girl and a boy and they can't share. My daughter ended up with the short straw and inflatable bed. Non of this ruined our holiday, we had a lovely time. Highly recommended, we would love to go back."

"The property was in a good location and was ideal for our requirements. However, there were a few areas of general improvement that could be made namely some cobwebs on the stairwell and conservatory, the conservatory roof leaking when it rained and the extra living room having an unpleasant odour which meant we didn't use it. Further, the dining area chairs don't match the good quality tables and could be replaced and the living room settee needs replacing as it feels broken in places. Would recommend for the number of guests either a larger setting dishwasher or an extra one as per the other applicances. The downstairs bed was uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, the property provided us a suitable base for our holiday"

"Glenside was a great place to stay for exploring south Cornwall without having to travel to far. Lovely beaches just minutes away and all the amenities you could need also very close. The house itself was lovely and spacious with everything there you could ever need including the hot tub that was great after a long day exploring. The owner is very friendly and on hand for any issues that we had. The only real issue we had was with the garden not being fully enclosed so we had to keep a close eye on our spaniel especially when we had a visit from a wandering local dog. ( Owner of glenside has been notified and should address the situation of garden security ). All in all this is a great base for a Cornish adventure."

"We stayed as a family of 3 in the cottage and had a really lovely stay. There was really everything we needed, I would only say that the cottage does need to have WiFi as you can’t get any signal at all in the house, so you can’t make any phone calls or have internet usage. The town is lovely, again I would just say that there is no parking at the cottage so unless you are lucky to get parked outside in the 5 spaces outside the cottage, you have to pay £5 a day for parking. It would have been good to know this before we booked. We did have a lovely stay though and this didn’t affect our holiday really just things that’s would be good to know"

"Property could do with freshening up inside. Bathroom especially. Mattress in front bedroom requires renewing as very thin. Dated and uncomfortable settee and chair in living room. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Be aware that there is only one pub and corner shop in village and you would have to travel for meals out as pub gets extremely busy. Ideal location to visit other attractions and picturesque harbour village with limited parking. I do not believe cottage is worth price asked as we have recently stayed in self catering accommodation for less price and a much higher standard of furniture and decoration."
