"Small but absolutely perfectly formed This was our very first visit to Cornwall and I have without doubt left a piece of my heart thereNewlyn which is simply a beautiful non touristy fishing town was the most perfect place to stay The cottage is immaculate with exceptional attention to detail 2 comfy sofas with coordinating throws for chilly nights (of which we had none as the sun shines all week)Every pot/dish cup/glass adults and children alike catered for Excellent quality bed linen and towels The whole cottage is beautifully put together and was a fantastic baseIt is on the road but it is not a busy road and had no negative impact on us. The parking space is straight opposite which was greatLocal pub 1 min from cottage was lovely. Very inviting with large open fireMackerel sky seafood bar in the village is a must. Stunning food great atmosphere and superb serviceDukes cafe also excellent And the icing on the cake is Newlyn Cinema. Simply beautiful cinema house with an incredible menuCottage makes for very easy walking to Mousehold (The Old Coastguard Inn) has the most incredible garden, which on a chilly day can be viewed from the gorgeous sofa area that overlooks the garden. An absolute must2 Fore Street in Mousehold fantastic food on an eveningRock pool cafe, gorgeous place for breakfast/lunchPort Isaac is fab. Day worth the trip. Didn't really care for Padstow too much (Very touristy) but had the most exceptional lunch at Prawn on the lawnAnd without doubt the most magical/beautiful place we visited across Cornwall was Porthcurno and Minack Theatre. Simply sublime"

"The penthouse was a very nice property and well presented. The location made it easy to visit all the local attractions including beaches and coves. The train link is a few minutes walk away and very convenient for those wishing to visit St Ives for the day/evening allowing you to drink and not drive. The journey being 3/4 minutes each way and the cost more than reasonable at £5.20 return for 4 adults. My only criticisms of the property is that the shower facilities are not good for a party of adults,as you need to use the master bedroom shower.Parking is also limited resulting in one of the two cars being blocked by the other and although we managed if you travel separately it will cause a problem. The views from the balcony of the bay are also becoming restricted by the conifers. However, this is a very nice property and I would recommend it to others."

"Cottage is small but ideal for two + dog - shower facilities are good as are the kitchen facilities. There is no tv signal which may be a problem for some visitors- we read a great deal and watched a few dvds in the evening. Location is quite remote but that was our intent. We were lucky with the weather with only one day of mizzle - lots to see in area and plenty of pubs with good food available. One downside was the rather worn settee where hubby almost needed assistance to get out of! Also when the wind was in one direction the windows did little to stop it leaving me to try and set up additional glazing with newspapers! Perhaps this could be looked at - I would think could only be worse as it gets colder."

"A beautiful cottage, well presented and spacious upstairs and downstairs. With a gorgeous garden, the whole place was very toddler friendly. Our spaniel could escape under the gate or over the wall but luckily for us he chose not to.Easy to walk to the coastal path and to the nearest beach. Perfect location for exploring St Michael's Mount and out to Lands End. Spoilt for choice for day trips out in this stunning part of the country. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Our only negatives were the mattress in the main bedroom is a little uncomfortable, the springs now palpable. And the visitor book was quite limited in its information. But this remains the best cottage we have stayed in within the UK."

"The cottage was clean, well equipped and very good location with reserved parking. It looked as if it was recently fully renovated and we could not fault it.In the cottage was very useful information about local facilities, where to go and places of interest. It was exactly as described and was just what we wanted.During our stay we had a minor problem with the fridge door which although not causing us a problem we phoned the owner to inform them so that they could prepare in case it got worse. The owner was great they arranged for a local tradesman to come and take a look and it was all sorted in a few hours without affecting our holiday at all. Great customer service."
