What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Walton - Verified booking

Beautiful surroundings with some wonderful touches like the door out to the verandah overlooking the sea from the main bedroom. Lots of light and space in the living area with comfortable seating and beds. The place was clean but it is in need of some tlc as some areas like the kitchen are in need of a refurb. We weren’t disturbed during our stay apart from two helicopters which landed on the field outside but these came and went at a reasonable hour. If you aren’t planning on doing a lot of cooking and want a quiet getaway in stunning surroundings, give this cottage some consideration.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The views from the verandah from the swing seat with the possiiblity 180 deg of sunlight were amazing. The jacuzzi was brand new and very good. It was very quiet and the location was excellent. Parking was good outside the house. The access to the unspoilt beach and coast path was very handy , but be careful not to slip! Attention to some of the outside furniture. There are a few items in the house that are due for an update but it is a great place for a relaxing stay.

The cottage was beautiful and so relaxing to be in.

Being able to use the pool and spa facilities on the park site was a real plus as well. The beds were all comfy and having a separate ‘wing’ to the adult living room and bedroom was great! The only reason I didn’t give 5stars is because you can’t quite see the sea view from the garden and the garden isn’t enclosed enough to be able to let our naughty dog roam free as she runs away given any chance. But we had a long lead so it was fine! Lovely cream tea on arrival as well Thankyou!!

Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

The Cottage is super spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds very comfy. The welcome cream tea, card and flowers much appreciated. The swimming pool on site is a boon. The view from the lounge would be improved, if the small tree on the right was cut down. Ideal location for superb coastal and estuary walking. Just ten minutes walk away, is a fabulous viewpoint looking down over the estuary.

Hidden little gem for sure .

Absolutely loved this cottage . Very comfy and perfect for the family . Location is away from everyone which is great . We used the pool most days too . We have found our go to place and will be returning next year with more family members . If buying was a possibility, I’d buy it tomorrow
