What our customers say about their holidays

Staying at Rydon Ball was a real pleasure. The location was wonderful and the property has been well planned to make the most of the surrounding scenery. Located on high ground, from breakfast in the kitchen diner to sitting in the lounge during the day there is always something to see. With many large windows it makes the most of the all round views and sunshine. As a result the property is surprisingly warm and needed little heating. It is well equipped with everything that you need, the property owner is at hand nearby and made us very welcome. If there is anything that you need, or need to know she is always pleased to help. The disabled facilities were very good, one observation would be that the 3 piece suite was very comfortable but was too low for a not very mobile person. A more upright chair with arms that you can lift yourself up on would be really useful. We are already planning our next visit! The views of the surrounding area and Dartmoor are stunning and if you are a lover of wildlife there is always something to see with various animals and birds to be seen out of the windows

This bungalow is a very comfortable place to stay. Very warm and cosy with all mod cons. The beds are comfortable as are the pillows. Kitchen and cooking brilliant. Marvellous extras such as a utility room with washer, dryer and a freezer. I think all of the extra aids such as grips on the wall and the wet room were a big help for my husband. The lounge and the outside garden have far-reaching views over Dartmoor and is enclosed and therefore dog friendly. This bungalow is a gem for sure, because this location is fantastic it's so easy to get to any place of interest. Thank you, Tracy and Steve.

An excellent stay in a beautiful location.

As there were only two of us, there was plenty of room in a 3 bedroomed cottage. The cottage was well furnished, with excellent wi-fi connection - always important! Every effort had been made to make us feel safe with covid restrictions. We were able to use the swimming pool as there was a booking system in place, so that only one group of people were able to use the pool at any one time. The weather was good and Teigngrace is an excellent location for visiting both the Devon coast and to visit Dartmoor. The staff were friendly and helpful - a great experience and total relaxation!

Any worries that we had regarding my wife's disablement was soon dispelled, although I would add, we did take a wheeled shower chair with us. Everything about the cottage was welcoming. The location allowed us to move around the Torbay area and also it is within easy reach of Plymouth. Dartmoor is also easy to access with Tavistock on the other side of the moor worth a visit. I have given our stay at Rydon Ball top marks on all counts and it will always be a fond memory for myself and my wife.

We had a great holiday, the location is wonderful, kids loved the animals, play area, garden, you’re in a very rural location but not far from local amenities and attractions.

The farmhouse is very roomy, comfortable and sufficient and a great place for families to holiday together. The farmhouse could do with a little TLC - hole in bedroom carpet, squeaky floorboards screwing tight - furniture rattles when you are walking across floors - difficult with a baby asleep, towel radiator in shower room not working, kitchen bit tired, no hangers in some wardrobes, but value for money cannot fault it and owners are lovely.
