      The house was perfect for us.

      We were a party of 9, in total, three groups of the same family travelling from separate locations. The house was a little tricky to find but this was not a reflection on Iain's instructions, merely the narrow lanes of the Devon countryside! The house was perfect for us. All the bedrooms were lovely and really comfortable. The kitchen-diner became the centre of the indoor space and was amazingly well equipped. The heated pool became the centre of the outdoor activities and is such a great facility. Mention must be given to the games basement area and the outdoor table tennis. These became the focus of considerable family rivalry; our own Olympic Games prior to the Paris version. We made pizzas one evening in the wonderfully equipped pizza oven barbecue the next. Iain is a very approachable and friendly host and we would love to return.

      We had a lovely stay at Grange Cottage.

      The Cottage was very clean, cosy and had everything we needed including a high chair. All furniture was good quality and the beds were very comfortable. The onlt thing we needed to take was a travel cot as we had a young child with us. The owners live next door and were very welcoming, keeping us topped up with eggs from their chickens for a small cost and they were available for any questions we had. The welcome pack was lovely which included a home baked cake, eggs, milk, apple juice, plenty of tea/coffee/sugar and a welcome book with information on things to do in the area. The location is rural with lovely views and its a good base to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Would highly recommend this cottage.

      Booking was easy.

      The cottage was excellent. As described and we had everything we needed. The owners were available if required and friendly but we didn’t need their help because they had left clear instructions on how all appliances and tv etc worked. Lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. The heating was always exactly the right temperature. The eco friendly measures in place inspired us to buy a book on how to make small changes in our daily life to help the planet. So this was much more than just another cottage. Thank you for the best holiday in years! We might even write to the owners to ask the make of their mattresses because they were so comfortable.

      We had an amazing stay! Iain was incredibly easygoing, responsive, and provided clear instructions, which made everything from check-in to check-out seamless. The property itself was spotless and well-maintained. While the photos in the listing were nice, the place looks even better in person—the pictures truly don’t do it justice! We were a group of 23, and the property still felt incredibly comfortable and spacious. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone. If I get the chance, I’d love to come back in the summer. If not, I’ll happily recommend it to friends and family. Thank you, Iain, for a fantastic stay!

      Thank you Emma & Richard! The Pool House is extremely well equipped with everything you would need. The bed was amazingly comfortable & the property was spotlessly clean. Thank you for the locally made Cider & Apple juice - welcome refreshments as we had such beautiful hot weather and managed to use the Swimming Pool several times a day, every day of our stay! We had a fantastic time here & would highly recommend it to anyone. Emma & Richard we’re very kind & nothing was too much trouble. Can recommend A lovely Italian on the way to Exeter called Belluno.
