What our customers say about their holidays

    • Samuel - Verified booking

Wow! The photos on the website do not do this place justice.

This house is amazing, where do I start? The kitchen is huge and really well equipped and there is also a utility room with washer and dryer, this leads to the dining and family room with a large table, a massive sofa and large TV with a Wii console and loads of stuff for kids. There is another living room with a wood stove, another TV and Sky, this room is chilled out and beautifully decorated and more for adults. The downstairs bedroom is en-suite and has a living flame fire and TV (we chose this room). Upstairs there are more bedrooms, all large, plus a big bathroom, another en-suite and a cute nursery. There are French doors in all the downstairs rooms that lead on to a wrap around terrace and wow, the garden is huge! The icing on the cake is the amenities outside - hot tub, dart board, pool table, table tennis (we used this a lot) and gas BBQ plus there is a large seating area with a gas heater and at night everything lights up! You cannot get board and the sunsets… There are friendly goats living next door and they poke their noses through the fence. Also, there are peacocks just roaming around the place. We found some nice walks and definitely take your camera if you walk up to the nearby obelisk. We visited Conwy castle and went shopping in Llandudno, all within a 10 min drive. We walked to the local pub called The Queens Head, it was about a mile walk, decent pint and the food was amazing (big menu choice). Slept soundly every night and the bed was super comfy. I cannot recommend this place enough. 5 star property. We will be back!

The Dunes Absolutely perfect place to stay!

Absolutely loved our stay in The Dunes. Wowed by the quality of the furnishings and decor, and the views are breathtaking. Situated right by the sea, the views from the balconies over the waves and towards the mountains while we sipped our wine in front of the fire was amazing. The beds were super comfy so we had the best sleep. The bathrooms and en-suites are amazing and the whole place was stunningly clean. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and the dining plates and crockery are gorgeous. The hot tub was a bonus and the towels they supplied were soft and fluffy. The welcome gifts and the slippers were a lovely gesture and there was even gifts for our dog! The walks along the beach and up the Great Orme are right from the doorstep and the main town was a short walk down a lovely wide avenue. We had a tasty Sunday lunch at the local pub called the Lily which is also on the West Shore front and the little local supermarket is just around the corner which was really handy. There is parking to the front of the property and an electrical charger which we made use of as we visited Betws y Coed and Conwy during our stay. The back garden is secure with high fences so I didn’t worry about letting our dog out there. We will definitely be staying there again and can’t recommend it enough.

I booked Palau Farm for a surprise family get together for my wife’s 60th birthday and all I can say is ‘wow’.

The location is amazing and the views stunning. The property itself was perfect for us with the large open plan kitchen and seating area at one end with doors opening up to that view providing a great place to sit and chat/play board games and eat. The kitchen and utility room were extremely well equipped although a vacuum cleaner and broom would have been useful to be able to tidy up before leaving. Had it been cold enough to use, the wood burner and supply of wood in the lounge the other end of the property would have been another great facility. We couldn’t get the Sky boxes to work but the internet was reliable and fast enough for the ample supply of apps pre loaded on the TV’s to provide something to watch in the evenings. During the day, who needs tv with a view like that! Many hours spent watching the sheep and goats roaming in the farms ground. The icing on the cake for us was standing outside and seeing the Northern Lights. Not supplied by the property :) but a fantastic part of our time there. We have only been back a day and are already missing the views. A big thank you to the owner for the effort put into making Pyllau Farm a fantastic holiday home, we will definitely be returning.

A family of 6 of us have just returned home from a lovely Christmas stay at Neptune Cottage, the cottage has been recently renovated and we enjoyed looking at the progress photos that were hung on the landing wall.

Everything was perfect and there was plenty of space for all 6 of us. The cottage is decorated immaculately and the open plan downstairs living was great for socialising as a family. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the dishwasher was a godsend after Christmas Lunch. The cottage is on 3 floors with 2 large double bedrooms on the second floor each with their own ensuite and a twin room on the 3rd floor with a huge bathroom all with modern fittings. The hot tub is a lovely bonus to this property and the high walled courtyard meant that you didn't feel overlooked by the neighbours. The cottage is situated right in the centre of Conwy on a narrow one way street so parking is limited we had two cars with us so we parked one outside the property and the second one we parked at the council offices car park a 5 minute walk away, this car park was free of charge during the week but charges apply at weekends and bank holidays. Communication with the owner was fantastic and Velda even let me know that the cottage had been decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return at some point in the future.

The largest and most luxurious property we've ever rented and perfect for a large family gathering with dogs.

Kitchen \ living area is lovely (Quooker tap with instant boiling water is great), balconies provide amazing views and the hot tub was enjoyed more than once. The bedrooms are really nice with 3 huge walk in showers plus an awesome bath in total. Ground floor has lots of space and utility room with washer \ drier was very handy with little ones. The location couldn't be better with beach and playground just outside the door, pub next door but one and a One Stop shop 30s walk away outside the back gate. Easy walk to the busy side with the pier and shops\amusements. All the takeaways you could wish for available for delivery and large retail parks with all the big shops. Flat and easy to navigate area with optional hills if you desire. We drove up Great Orme a couple of times to take in the stunning views and I walked up Little Orme to bag the trig there and take photo's back toward Great Orme. Also had a lovely day-trip to Barmouth, driving right through the middle of the national park. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and I'd love to return one day.
