Provence is a reverse-living cottage situated situated in a tranquil hamlet just over 8 miles from the coast, these beautiful cottages have been converted from barns dating back to 1824 and retain many original features. Provence has been converted into a reverse-living cottage in the style of a French farmhouse with open beams and terracotta-tiled staircase. It is set in a shared courtyard, cottage-style, wildlife-friendly garden.
Tregrill Farm, where the owner lives on-site, is ideally located for visiting the whole of Cornwall, South Devon, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, with countryside walks accessible directly from the door. The stunning South Cornwall coast, with its charming fishing villages such as Polperro and Looe, as well as the famous South West Coastal Path, is just a short drive away. The fishing port of Looe can also be reached by taking the scenic train journey from Liskeard, 2 miles away. The maritime city of Plymouth is only a 30-minute drive away, with the National Marine Aquarium and its historic Barbican district. The fantastic Eden Project, 10 miles away, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, along with Cotehele, are amongst the many wonderful Cornish gardens and historic houses that are within easy reach of Tregrill Farm. The Rame Peninsula, known as Cornwall’s Forgotten Corner, is close by with picturesque villages and quiet beaches and Whitsand Bay, which is popular with surfers, is only 12 miles away. Water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing and fishing can also be enjoyed at Siblyback Lake, 5 miles; Adrenalin Quarry and karting are less than a mile away. Beach 8¾ miles. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant 1 mile.

We enjoyed a family get together, with two dogs and four adults.The cottage provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy time together. There is easy access to places of interest. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Delightful 😊

Second year we have been its ideal place for a base to explore. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped always very clean and tidy, dog friendly although it’s a shared garden . We will be back next year all being well

Wonderful footage with plenty of room. Very well equipped with everything you need including a welcome pint of milk / tea/coffee and a Cornish cake ! Perfect for holidaying with your dogs too. Off the beaten track which lends itself to a peaceful quiet atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend. WiFi signal is very weak but sometimes that can be a good thing when away from the dramas of life ! Need a bigger supply of toilet rolls too! Bathroom and en-suite were perfect. Extremely clean everywhere Beds were all reported as very comfortable. Washing machine /tumble drier /frodge /freezer/doshwasher/mocrowave/toaster/kettle and a radio all made the stay that little bit more luxurious. I would , without a doubt, come and stay again !
