"This 4 bedroom house is amazingly spacious. Big rooms. Many windows so nice and light. Huge dining room and table. We had 10 round it on Bank holiday. Enough crockery, cutlery, pans, chairs and mugs and glasses for everyone. Large kitchen with big fridge/ freezer, washer, dryer and dishwasher. Kitchen table also seated 8. Downstairs toilet. Huge sitting room with 3 sofas, tv, DVD player and radio. Upstairs lovely bathroom with bark AND shower cubicle. Another bedroom with en suite and 3 further bedrooms. Many cupboards, wardrobes and coat hangers. Everyone had a bedside light. The beds were really comfortable. Even 2 hairdryers. Pity the large windows only had thin curtains as much too light at 5.30 am. Large garden to sit in and the children to play in. Also games and toys in the garage. Parking for at least 3 cars. The owner on hand if you needed him."

"A really comfy and cosy cottage in a delightful area. Waking to the gorgeous countryside views was absolutely wonderful. This was an early family Christmas break and the Christmas decor and log burner made the break so enjoyable. A really nice pub is fairly close to the cottage and there are great walks. It’s also close enough to visit Chester, plus Cheshire Oaks and we even travelled to Liverpool. The owner Jane was also extremely welcoming. The fittings within the cottage are of high quality and it’s very tastefully decorated. This is a great property for a family, but I’m not sure if it would be ideal for 2 couples even though it easily sleeps 4 people. The upstairs has quite low ceilings for adults and the only bathroom is also the ensuite of the downstairs bedroom. However, that said we will be returning as we loved our stay!"

"A lovely house with a large garden and we were made very welcome by the owner.Only 3 problems - we had very young children with us and the upstairs casement windows did not lock or have restrictors fitted, luckily we were able to concoct temporary restrictors using tough string. The shower in the en-suite is past its best, but the main bathroom shower was very good. The garage was advertised as a wet weather play area, but it had not been used for some time so smelt very damp, but the weather was kind to us and we did not need it.We had a lovely holiday there and it was perfect for our large family to visit family living in the area."

"The cottage is brilliant, plenty of room, very bright, we loved the lighting that they have done in the cottage. We were very lucky that we had a fabulous week with the weather, so spend most of it with all the doors open in the cottage and eating outside. The main bedroom is lovely plenty of room, the other bedrooms are very nice, not over big and could do with some drawers for putting some things away, even though there's drawers under the bed. We had a great week and have already recommended this cottage to friends, they came to visit while we were there and they loved it."

"We spent a lovely Christmas at Brook House Farm Cottage. The only things we would mention that could be improved for future visitors are the settees in the lounge, which we found to be quite uncomfortable and the cooker - we found it difficult to control the rings as the numbers and instructions were illegible, and and there seemed to be a problem with the oven temperatures as some items were not evenly cooked. However, this did not spoil our enjoyment. We particularly loved watching the squirrels and the birds on the feeders outside the lounge window."
