This period, beamed detached, dog friendly three bedroom stone property lies close to the green in the award-winning picturesque village of Kingham and home to two renowned restaurants, The Kingham Plough and Daylesford's The Wild Rabbit. A perfect choice for both location and accommodation, Kingham village is on the mainline railway, directly from Paddington with plenty of other Cotswold stops along the way.
The Old Bakery is a period beamed, detached stone property enviably located close to the green in the award-winning picturesque village of Kingham within this beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
With light and airy accommodation including a double aspect spacious sitting room; a generous inner dining hall and a well-equipped breakfast kitchen on the ground floor, and three very comfortable first floor bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room in addition to the family bathroom.
Outside, a walled, enclosed courtyard provides ample space for enjoying an alfresco meal along with off-street parking.
Foodies will be delighted to discover the cottage is within easy walking distance of two highly recommended local restaurants, The Kingham Plough and Daylesford's The Wild Rabbit, along with a well-stocked village shop and post office. The Old Bakery is easily reached by train, with Kingham being on the main line from London Paddington with stops at Oxford, Didcot and Moreton-in-Marsh. The property itself is only four minutes from the station, making it an ideal location from which to explore the local area without the car. Or, within a 10-minute drive, explore the quintessential Cotswold hotspots of Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water.
For smaller groups, The Old Bakery is also available to book with use of just two of the bedrooms, for up to four guests (please see separate listing).
