This is a stunning bolthole for couples and families at any time of the year.

The cottage is situated within a delightful position within the village of Kingham and is accessed along an attractive private driveway with ample gravelled parking. The front porch allows you to retire your boots, hang your coat and make your way into this stunning retreat. The kitchen is well equipped and boasts integrated appliances, wooden worktops and a quarry tiled floor leading to a favourable utility room and downstairs cloakroom. Exposed stone walls and wooden beams ensure the sitting room has an abundance of charm and the tasteful furnishings and wood burning stove make this the perfect setting to retire in the evenings. French doors lead out onto the private enclosed rear garden, complete with firepit and garden furniture, lending itself to be the ideal location for alfresco dining or relaxing on an evening. An attractive staircase leads to the first floor where there are two beautifully presented bedrooms, both with king-size beds and a modern, bright family shower room.

Kingham previously won the prestigious title of "England's Favourite Village" as featured in Country Life magazine and was previously named the best village in England by the Telegraph. If you want to park up and leave the car, Old Stable Cottage is ideally situated just four minutes from Kingham's railway station, on the main line from London Paddington, with stops at Oxford, Didcot and Moreton-in-Marsh. However, you don't even need to leave the village for a choice of two fabulous pubs/restaurants with walking distance of the cottage.

One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Please restrict your dog to the ground floor and garden.

Children and infants welcome. A travel cot and high chair available on request (please provide your own cot linen).

The second bedroom has limited headroom due to eaves.

The bedding is feather.

Please note, the driveway to the parking area is quite narrow but passable and, once through, there is plenty of space for parking two to three cars.
