The property was excellent.
It was immaculate and was everything that I had hoped for. My family (those of us who were able to go due to Covid restrictions) were all delighted with the property. The contact that I had with the owners was positive and pleasant. Whilst the property lived up to all expectations I am afraid to say that your approach to customer service was an absolute disgrace. You were quick enough to take my money both for the deposit, interim payments and the final payment but when it came to my needing help and assistance from you when the Government, 5 days before the start of the holiday, altered the criteria for holidays such as this you 'went missing'. I spent 90 minutes in total trying to contact your customer services. I sent an e-mail to your customer services on the 4th August explaining my problems. It is now 22nd August and I am still waiting for a response from you to that e-mail. I sent a further e-mail to you the following day after I had spoken to the owners of the property who, unlike yourselves, were most helpful. Yet again I await a reply from you. You did not have the decency to acknowledge either of these e-mails let alone answer my queries from the first one. I have severe reservations about using your company again for future holidays and based on my experience of your customer service I have no intention of recommending you to anybody.

Fantastic holiday at the croft.
Perfect for a family get away. The pool was amazing and was enjoyed every day we were there. Perfect temperature, really clean. Our 5m old loved it! The sauna was brilliant and warmed up quickly so we could enjoy it! Kitchen was well equipped and great for cooking for all 22 of us. Dining room sat us all for Christmas dinner which was fantastic. Hay-on-wye was a short trip away and we enjoyed a lovely nosey around the quaint shops. Rooms were brilliant, plenty of ensuites. Comfy nights sleep! Travel cots in the property are good quality and so are the highchairs. We did have a little issue with the heating but it was swiftly sorted out for us. One of the rooms has a missing blind/curtain in the bathroom. Needs to be replaced although it was a great view when having a shower. Only thing we would recommend is that the pool could do with a hand rail. My grandad had a stiff leg when we got there so a hand rail would have been brilliant for him to use the pool. Sadly he missed out as he was afraid of falling. Huge thank you to the owner for catering for our lovely stay. We have made some great memories and had a really lovely time!

Excellent location, comfortable house, very well presented / decorated giving a stylish welcome. A few pointers for improvement : *Apple box disconnected from TV - cleaner needs to check before guests arrive * Heating difficult to control. * Shared bathroom - not up to the standard the property promises. Need larger sink, proper shower, not one over the bath, very difficult to avoid water from a shower coming over the bath. Suggest dividing the bathroom in 2 ( a window in each part ) with door from end bedroom into one part (making end bedroom en suite ) with the other part accessed from landing as at present. The current sink could move left to be under the window, both bathrooms to have a medium sized shower. The house has a bath anyway in the current en suite. Cost would be 2 showers, one toilet and one sink - plumbing costs too, but improvements would provide a much better facility for the 2 bedrooms it serves. * Dining room - a great room but rather echoey - suggest blinds / fabric at the windows to absorb the noise. Would also add warmth in the winter.

We stayed at the Croft for my Dadâs 60th birthday.
The property and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is amazing with everything you need to feed a large amount people. The swimming pool was definitely a high light. Very clean and kids absolutely loved it. We played cricket on the field and had an amazing time. The bedrooms and living areas are fantastic. All bedding was very clean. The house has amazing character and everyone loved wondering around and finding new rooms and original features. There were a few small things that would make this property untouchable. Internet needs a booster in the rooms off the main house as it currently doesnât reach there. The jack and Jill shower didnât brain so guests used the shower next to the pool. Upgrading the swing set would add another plus set to this property as current one is a little run down. Listing needs slightly amending as jacquzzi is no longer there and gym is removed due to COVID. We had an amazing time at this property and we will definitely be booking again. We loved it xx

We had a lovely family break staying together in Notts House.
Communication was excellent with Lynn who was so helpful and left a gratefully received welcome hamper. Staying in a property like Notts House is a unique experience - if only those walls could speak! The house is warm and cosy and is equipped with everything (and more) that you could need. It has a wonderful (and again unique) location in Wellington, which is a delightful village. The community shop is well stocked with helpful and friendly staff; in fact, everyone in the village was friendly. My husband and daughter' partner went to watch the local football team and were warmly welcomed after the game at the social club - so they were very happy!! Lovely countryside for walking just out of the gate. Amongst other locations we visited Leominster, Hereford, Ross and Hay on Wye. Would thoroughly recommend the Weir Gardens and other National Trust properties nearby - Croft Castle and Berrington Hall. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Lynn.
