What our customers say about their holidays

    • Lynda - Verified booking

A gorgeous, quaint, cosy cottage situated just a short walk from all the shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.

The walks around Hay-on-Wye are beautiful with stunning views, walks along the river and the odd waterfall here and there. Getting back to the cottage after a long walk was just perfect! Light the log burner, open a bottle and just sit back and unwind. What more could you ask for!? Thank you Steve and Wendy for a wonderful week and giving us a detailed tour of your cosy cottage. Would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family!

We had a wonderful, restful weekend in Hoarders cottage.

Brilliant hosts that could not do enough for us made the trip extra special! The cottage is perfectly located to explore Hay-on-Wye, walking distance to everything you might want to do! It was warm and had a homely, cosy feel made even better by the log burner! Would 100% recommend the cottage to anyone and we’d love to return!

    • Mrs Williams - Verified booking

Great location for exploring Hay and perfect for dog walks with the path to The Warren literally opposite the Villa. Two comfy sofas were great. The oven (once sussed) worked really well. As others' have mentioned, the place is a bit tired and could do with a refresh, especially the bathroom.

A really lovely little house in easy walking distance to all the book shops in Hay. Some lovely walks right on the doorstep along the river and the Black Mountains near by. The property had everything we needed and would recommend staying here.

An absolutely delightful cottage in a wonderful setting.

The main attraction for us was the wood burning stove! Our hosts were attentive and thoughtful and could not have been more welcoming. Plenty to do and see in the immediate area and surroundings. A fabulous romantic weekend away!
