Glastonbury is a charming little town in the south-west of England, and is a great destination for a holiday. It is renowned for its annual music festival, but there is plenty more to see and do in Glastonbury outside of the festival season too. Visitors can explore the ancient ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, take a walk around the beautiful surrounding countryside, or meander through the charming streets of the town. Explore the famous Glastonbury Tor, and take in some beautiful views while you're there.

Dog-friendly holiday cottages in Glastonbury are a great way to take a break and take your furry friend along with you. There are a wide range of cottages to choose from, with many featuring secure gardens and grounds, so your pooch can get out and play. Inside, you'll find cosy living areas and special touches like welcome treats and bedding. With such an array of dog-friendly properties available all over the country, it's easy to find one to suit the whole family.

What our customers say about their holidays

Kylemore is a lovely old house in an interesting town.

The bathrooms are lovely and were very clean, and the kitchen is modern with adequate equipment, the skylights making it a nice space to eat and spend time in. Garden was a pretty place to sit in sun and have a drink. The bedrooms were all lovely, kids reported beds upstairs were comfy, especially the singles. We really loved the garden bedroom, huge, lovely bathroom, doors to garden and very comfortable bed. Not to mention the beautiful, blackout curtains that made for an amazing night's sleep. A few negatives though, we rent a cottage for it to be a home from home, this requires comfortable furniture to be so. The lounge has an ok sofa, but the rest of the chairs are very uncomfortable, and the old armchair with stuffing coming out was unappealing. Pillows could be a lot better. Games room was not really a games room, just a few odd chairs and a chest with a few games in, could be made much more useful. Bathrooms and kitchen were nicely clean, but rest of house was just ok, could be cleaned better. Plastic chopping boards and utensils would be better so they can go through dishwasher and be properly clean. Wood is lovely, but never know if it's scrubbed well. The electric shower in double bedroom could not be used as it was either boiling or freezing. A welcome pack with milk and a few biscuits or something would have been much appreciated, especially as you cannot get in until 4pm. Although this sounds like a lot of negatives, we would recommend, the house has a nice atmosphere, we slept well, enjoyed time in the kitchen and had an all round fantastic holiday.

We and our seminar participants felt very comfortable in the house.

It is lovingly furnished and the garden invites you to linger. It was a pity that the rooms and especially the dishes were not really clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, the windows were dirty and we had to wash all the dishes again before we could use them. A small note: the fuse kept blowing as soon as the light was on in the room on the first floor and several rooms on the second floor had their lights switched on. Basically, the Tree of Life House is a beautiful vacation home that impresses with its proximity and location to the city center and also to the Chalice Well Garden, the White Spring and the Tor. We felt very comfortable and could overlook the small blemishes. Our little highlight was the elf house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage but we were rather surprised to see as soon as we entered a notice saying “Breakages will be charged at £15 per item”.

Quiteset the tone for our return . We have stayed at quite a few Sykes Cottages over the years and we were quite surprised to receive negative feedback from the owner. When we arrived we discovered that a wooden chair was broken and the dishwasher tablet dispenser was also broken . We are told that a new dishwasher door is required and suitable recompense will be needed for the wooden chair . We were also verbally slapped on the wrist for not disposing of our rubbish in the correct manner although we believed that we had done so according to the owners manual. We will not be returning. Now b

The property was lovely and liked by the whole group.

It is noisy, the slightest sound echoes. The central heating seemed confusing, we could not get the temperature up on Thursday. The green swivel chair in the sitting room is very unstable and dangerous. I toppled backwards and had to be helped up. Some sort of felt pads on the feet of the kitchen chairs would reduce the noise significantly. I'm sorry if I seem to be moaning a lot, this is meant as constructual criticism not as complaints. Overall we found the cottage lovely and would return. Glastonbury on the other hand could do something about the dog fouling problem.

Tree of Life House is practically perfect in every way.

Close to the town centre with comfortable furnishings, a beautiful, tranquil walled garden, and 5 ensuite rooms, it suited our party very well. We will definitely return and certainly recommend to friends and anyone else who would like to stay in Glastonbury. The housekeeper was also very helpful. Points to note - we couldn't get the microwave to work, the towel rail in the attic room would not turn off, and more than 3 pint glasses were needed by our party which included 5 men! None of these things spoilt our stay though.
