The location of this property on the Sailor's Path and Suffolk Coastal Walk made it an ideal location to stay with my dog. We had some superb walks along the trail and enjoyed the birch trees. One day we walked to Snape Maltings, which is a bit of a stretch of the legs but a great day out. The property was clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable to return to. Aldeburgh is in easy reach with its plethora of shops - Aldeburgh bookshop is first rate - and we enjoyed smoked fish bought from one of the beach smokeries. Really well located for travelling a bit further afield - Helmingham, Framlingham, Dunwich, Southwold, Sutton Hoo. Host made sure that we had the right key code. Lovely place, would be happy to stay again. View from the fenced garden (which was brilliant for dog) ever changing as the tides ebbed and flowed up the estuary. Snape Warren also easy to walk to. Good place to go. Five stars from me.

We have been coming to Aldeburgh for years and this was the first time we have seen this property on the letting market. The house has been superbly fitted out with every thing one could possibly need. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms had more than enough stowage. The bathrooms were excellent. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped - our granddaughter loved the ice maker in the huge American fridge - and the range cooker was brilliant. The house is in arguably the best position in Aldeburgh, just about the last house going south down the High Street, only a short dash from the wonderful White Hart pub/pizzeria and the Aldeburgh fish & Chip shop. Very handy too for lovely walks along the embankment towards the Martello tower - we often saw seals - and for walks up river and back via Park Road. We'll certainly be back!

The washing machine was unusable until we'd removed lots of shredded dried paper from the drum.
The machine was filthy and the detergent draw didn't pull out so the powder I'd bought came home with me unopened and had to go and buy tablets. The tumble dryer took hours to dry laundry and made a horrendous noise - way above the TV. The TV had a vertical black line down the screen. There are no wardrobes in the bedrooms. The toilet flush in the en-suite is very hard to work, as is the one in the full bathroom, also the toilet seat moves from side to side in here too. I have let the owner know privately. It's a shame about the lack of cleanliness and repairs needed that should have been reported by the cleaner and repaired. Such a lovely little cottage. The ensuite is way too small for a couple with no storage space

Bunny Cottage is absolutely lovely.
Very well stocked with crockery, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. Nicely decorated throughout with a lot of care and attention to detail. I loved the upstairs 'reading room', a lovely touch. Lovely comfy bed and we had a bathroom each, blissful! We had beautiful hot weather and we sat on the roof terrace a lot, looking out to the sea. We enjoyed the '80's Carnival theme very much and I was able to catch up with some friends and reminisce about our youth in the '70's and early '80's, when I lived and worked in Aldeburgh. I always love coming back and being able to stay in Bunny Cottage was the icing on the cake! Thank you Jo & Rob.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lazyjacks. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach, town centre and main road routes. It was also very handy for popping to the supermarket for supplies. We did not always manage to find a parking spot on the road itself but there was ample parking in side roads slightly further up. The cottage was a perfect size for two people and was generally well kitted out. The garden was great to avoid having to take the dogs on leads for their evening toilet trip. We found the bed to be very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for luggage.
