Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. Having the beach right on our doorstep was lovely for morning/ evening walks as-well as the town. The bed was very comfortable and it was lovely to have the separate mezzanine space! We would definitely recommend!!

Just the break we needed after a tough summer due to ill health , operation followed by treatment. Our little dog made herself at home but wouldn’t go in the courtyard we must admit didn’t realise it’s joint on to 53 it’s more like a passage way shame as the cottage it’s self is very homely . The locals were very friendly enjoyed our 4 night break , plenty of walks last walk was at 11pm for Bobbi to go to the toilet before bedtime she sleeps in her crate not a sound from her so she enjoyed her stay thanks again .
